Well, well, it's Friday by now and no exact answer yet!  Although one of you was only 2 grams away from it during his numerous guesses! Here are the pictures that proof the correct sum was 1491:   Paul (rockrookie) was at a moment VERY close, only two grams away with his 1493 guess  . And even if he changed his guess, he was always stuck around the target and still has the best guess: 1471. Sitnwrap, you were SO close to beat him! So, congratulations Rockrookie-Paul! You are the winner, too bad you were not right on target! And this contest has another winner, too! It's an interesting story about a member who even didn't participate and yet won the fair play prize. In the very first day of this contest, Brian - Beef sent me a PM telling me that my photobucket album is public and the two pictures that you all can see above can be seen by anyone. I had no idea that my album is public, I put a password now. Brian told me this and also told me he is not going to participate, and that's what he did of course. A gesture of a real gentleman which I considered that deserves a prize. I'm not going to post a pic of his prize now, 'cause the box did not arrive yet and I don't want to spoil his surprise but Brian, when you receive it you are welcome to post it here  Thanks again Brian, your gesture was so much in the spirit of this board, I'm convinced that any of you would had made the same thing in the same conditions. wow !!! Thanks !! Adrian , i am excited to have won this contest . like i said before , in my small town & quiet life , before rock tumbling & RTH . NO WAY would i have had communication with and exchange of anying with some one across the Globe . i did not even know where Romania was !! or Arizona or Oregon ,Kansas , New York or even 1 mile away in my home town ,that i never would have met. SO thanks to RTH for making our world a little smaller & to having FRIENDS that we never met , in person . Great job Brian ,for your fine example of CHARACTER ,that is a real winner !!! WooooHooooooo!!!!!!!!! my box came the other day . the polished pet wood was great !! along with several ''filler pieces'' very nice AND Adrian even added the bonus prize ::the hand groove wrapped pet wood ::that he offered for an exact guess . my wife loves it ,i was overwhelmed by his generrosity & fine craftsman ship !! So glad you like the prize, Paul I also gave you the bonus prize because you were the winner both before and after that bonus was thrown into the contest. Besides, you posted in the contest that you are going to fight for that bonus to give it as a Christmas gift to your wife and who can resist to such a touching reason?
