To clarify: every listing links back to this website 3 times (the image is a link, the title is a link, and the full clickable url link is shown in the "URL" field on the page). Every builder is credited with his own build page (example: www.homemadetools.net/builder/spicer+m ), and every website is credited with a page including all of its builds. There is no copy-pasting or bots; a real person hunts the web for homemade tools, then writes a sentence or two about them. We send out a lot of traffic, and we're known on 350+ DIY forums (proof: www.homemadetools.net/links ). Nevertheless, if anyone ever didn't want us to link to them, we would remove their tools instantly. The last time we removed a tool it was due to a legal complaint from a patent holder.
That being said, I've seen plenty of sketchy scammers and spammers in my years of running forums. It's perfectly reasonable to be skeptical, and I'm happy to present our bona fide credentials. This is a good site with lots of ingenious tool builds. Your work is probably linked to on various websites around the internet, and we're proud to be one of them.
I appreciate your offer for any member here who doesn't want their information on your site it will be removed. That is important thank you.
We got off on the wrong foot for certain.
Yes, without even an ask.

How about copyright images? Does your method exclude clearly copyrighted images?
Apologies for my heavy handed approach. You replied with skill. Practice makes perfect.
