Those are definitely awesome! I know it's hard to make big cabs because getting a large piece out of most slabs without having defects in the cab is really a challenge. Then you've got the extra "wheel time" to go along with it. Great material! It will be fun to see the finished products. Should be some real jaw-droppers! Garry

You know I keep looking at these and I am just simply amazed, how the heck do you make such perfect circles? That totally eludes me, all ,my ovals look like eggs!!!
We need video!!!! Ok, maybe just I need video~!!!

Got the first set done today and I'm pretty happy with the results. I focused on some of the free-forms. Had a blast at the wheels today, I'm pretty sure I drank more beers than cabs I got done... Deschutes Picture Jasper The big cat, barely fit on my gear.. The purple sky on this one is pretty nice.. Boomerang, took the best polish of the bunch Blue Biggs sharktooth - almost ground the tip off.. Laguna master disc - the eye, this slab was really thin and my first angle was probably 80 degrees. I just sat there and ground away.. Nyedigger Plume - Freakin mountain explosion here, best of the bunch Horn Coral - Got this piece from Amber, I've never cut it before, but I really like it. It was very easy to work and sanded quick. I did seal it with Hot Stuff.. Pietersite - Another piece I got from Amber and I've never cut this stuff before. This piece has great chatoyance (sp?).. Royal Aztec Lace - Long teardrop here. I had drawn an oval out, but decided to stretch it.. Cryso-dendritic-agate? - What a great variety in this piece Tiffany Stone - I also got this one from Amber, and it's a beaut. Little pink dots in a brilliant purple agate Stay tuned, tomorrow should be a good day.. Let the dust fly

Excellent cabs HPD. The Nydigger is the best but a few are close runner-ups.

HPD: Man I knew these were going to be great, but holy crapola!!!! WOW!! That big pointy one is my fav, but there are so many I love. Man those slabs I sent you, look a little different than the ones I cabbed LOL!!! I really wanted to see a pro work that Piertersite, WOW!!! Your big ovals and circles are outstanding but I knew your freeforms were going to be jaw droppers!!! You really brought out the best in everything!!! You have a great sense of design in framing the freeforms. That plume is awesome!  You are the cabbing king!!! ;D Amber

Those are huge and incredibly beautiful. I can see how meticulous you are even at the early stages. Your work is worthy of this stunning material.
