Here are the last cabs from the bunch and a pic of them all combined at the end. I'll be taking some time off cabbing to work on some slabs and do some templating.
Master Discs:
Deschutes/Biggs Picture Jasper
Dino Bone
Madagascar Pink Plume - waiting for the sun
Oregon Red Moss - One of my favorites of the whole group
This slab was marked as Riviera plume - another favorit
The other shapes
Deschutes
Priday Thunderegg - Mt. Hood sunrise
San Lorenzo agate
African Blue lace
Purple Aztec Lace
White Rind Bruneau
Ghost wood from Amber
Unknown agate with little white dots
The whole batch - not bad for 18 days of part-time work
got another nice set from this batch done tonight. I had a great night in the shop. I learned two big things tonight as I continue to refine my technique. I solved my 3000 grit scratch issue. I was on a faceters forum and someone suggested it could be water, which comes from an old galvanized pipe plumbed to my mud sink. So I bought a gallon of distilled water and boom that fixed it. I also worked on some new sanding motions for larger flatter cabs. Anyhow, here are the cabs. Thanks for looking and all your comments. One of the highlights of making these is presenting them to you all.

Well I'm finally done with the large batch of slabs I had been working on for like the last month. I'm now starting a large batch of cabs and I'll post my progress as I go along. Today I started going through my slabs to pick the victims. I pulled out some of my A grade stuff and also tried to pick a wide variety of colors. I realized today I have way more slabs than I can work, so I'll be posting to do some trading. Here's the pics from today.
The selected slabs - I'll probably template this afternoon, but I'm planning to do some free-forms in this batch. I also will do a few of what I call master discs. I like to cut at least one 2.5-3" diameter round cab for each material I collect. The list of materials is at the end.
