Yes, you!
Thanks to everyone who made their guesses, and the date has passed... I may open the guessing up again, but I'm going to think of a good way to do it like another, separate prize.
...meanwhile... the wait continues...
(this could end up being the longest contest in RTH history, LOL)

Well, just an update: We just had our second open house and we have a couple of interested parties, but nothing serious. I've thought about what to do about this contest, and since it is entirely possible that we will not have a buyer by August. Our latest plan (subject to change) is to pick up the 5th wheel mid-August, take the house off the market, travel for a month or so, and then relist in the spring, so I think I'm going to let this run, and then have a "Second Chance" contest for everyone who guessed dates that expired. MJ, I'm putting your guess into the list, and am not going to penalize the others with dates on either side of you, if you get the date, Creativeminded or Sitnwrap will too, whoever is closest, the more the merrier. Thanks everyone for keeping your fingers crossed... and for your positive thoughts for these lookers to turn serious, but just in case, we have a back-up plan, so it's all good! Here's a pic of what will eventually be our new home. Oh, here's a pic of the wrap I'm including with the FRB. Personally love the lime-green color and am working on an ID, so hope to have one soon.

I'm still holding out for July! I admit - I checked the average time a house in on the market in your area before guessing. Here's hoping July is your month!

Thanks! Well, there are 400 and some homes currently in our county and our realtor told us that only 18 have sold in the last 6 months.

That's because nobody know that there's moonstone, garnets and citrine less than 1/4 mile from your house! ;D

I know, I'm so darn spoiled. Maybe a rockhound from here wants to buy it.

Jo: Talk to Tony, finally after 3 offers that fell through the house sold, but on settlement day the buyers mortage Co, refused the loan, 2 hours before settlement, she had to scramble and 2 days later had to have the parents come up from OK to co sign! What a mess! So at least you are not going through that, maybe now with school out things will pick up! PA is not fairing too well in this darn economy! I will keep my fingeres crossed for you! Amber

I was fortunate that the Lehigh Valley wasn't hit nearly as hard as a lot of other areas. Of course houses didn't skyrocket like other areas either. My house sold for $12,000 more than the appraised value just 6 months before and just about doubled in price in the 10 years I owned it. Yours will sell, you just need to be patient.

Well, here's a quick update: After upgrading the look and a new realtor, we're swimming along. Everyone's dates have expired except one and that is Rockhobbit on the 16th. We do have a couple interested parties so lets keep our fingers crossed for us and for Sheri! If Sheri's date expires, I'll run a quick contest for this PA rock FRB.

No, the house hasn't sold yet, but folks, time has run out on this contest. So, I pondered what to do to get this PA FRB into the hands of one of the participants in this contest. So, I consulted with contest mastermind, Lady B, and she broke out her infamous Bingo Hopper. By taking the dates everyone guessed and assigning numerical values to the months and days, then adding them, we came up with this converted set of guesses: April 1st- BikerRandy: 4+1… 5 April 8th- Colliel82: 4+8… 12 April 15th- MyNewHobby: 4+15… 20 April 18th- John Builtonrock: 4+18… 22 April 20th- Bejewelme: 4+20… 24 May 15th- Tigger: 5+15… 20 May 21st- NSR: 5+21… 26 May 22nd- Ralph & Mary Ann: 5+22… 27 May 24th- Randysgal: 5+24… 29 May 29th- Catmandewe: 5+29… 34 June 8th- Firewalker45: 6+8… 24 June 10th- RockRookie: 6+10… 16 June 12th- Fran: 6+12… 18 June 16th- Adrian: 6+16… 22 June 19th- HPD: 6+19… 25 June 23rd- Kap: 6+23… 29 June 29th- CreativeMinded: 6+29… 35 June 30th- MichaelJohn: 6+30… 36 July 4th- Sitnwrap: 7+4… 12 July 7th- KrazyDiamond: 7+7… 14 July 13th- Akansan: 7+13… 20 July 17th- Syfun: 7+17… 24 Aug 14th- RockHobbit: 8+14… 22 Then dear Lady B rolled her bingo hopper and produced this winning number! Taaa Daaah! We FINALLY have a winner!!!!!!!! Congratulations RockRookie! PM me with your mailing addy and your FRB of PA sweetness will be on its way to you! Thanks everyone for your good vibes and wishes! We're not giving up, but we're just gonna "roll" with it and see what happens.

Congratulations RockRookie!
Jo, this was a great contest. Though I wish a sale had gone through for you. What a great way to determine a winner and leave it to Lady B to help figure out the best way to do it.
