This is more of a question than a review. Just wondering how many people have ordered from them and ended up not getting all that they order?

Yep no issue with him. But have ordered from them 3 times now and twice have been missing something from the order. Did not know if this was common or I just have poor luck. Both times they have been more than friendly when I have called. Just wondering if I continue to buy from them if this is something I should expect to deal with. I mean first time it was kinda like ok no big deal. But now twice out of three orders has me wondering.

Everyone on this board seems to love the rockshed. I'd say if they have what you want at the price you want, continue to do business with them.

I've probably had over 20 orders from him over the last 2 years and never had that problem. A 100% correct orders.

I've only ordered a couple of times and shopped there in person once. Didn't have any issues with the orders.

I love the Rock Shed. Received everything I ordered within 3 days every time. Call Shawn if there is a problem.

They don't always have the lowest prices, but their sevice more than makes up for it! never had a problem!

In my experience, Shawn is probably one of the most reliable and honest vendors out there. Notwithstanding the wonderful folks here on RTH, of course!

I've ordered from them twenty or more times--twice they sent the wrong thing, but when I e-mailed they corrected it immediately. I think they are super--great customer service.

Thanks folks looks like it was just my luck. I had a feeling it was more just a coincidence than a normal occurance since Shawn is so highly spoken of on here. And I don't have a problem with the customer service. I called both time and he agreed to ship the missing stuff. Glad to hear in the future that this should not be a recurring theme.

I recently ordered some belts, sent me 2 of the wrong ones...(needed 8", got 6")I emailed, he responded with what happened, but not with when or if they would replace them with the right ones, I emailed again, and then a 3rd time. It's only 5 bucks, so wasn't gonna complain, still not really, but maybe he is just too busy to get to everything? It's now been over a month for me, so I gave up on it. Decided it wasn't worth the hassle, and not worth complaining about.....b-4 when I have ordered, things were fine...this time however....

I'd keep on it. You paid good money for the belts. Might as well make sure you get them. Seems to me from previous posts that mistakes are made quite often, but they are usually fixed without further hassle. Maybe they just don;t like folks from MN. ;D

Give Shawn a call and I'm sure he'll make it right. I always get more than I order - a few pieces of candy are always included. Hahaha. He's been solid for the two orders I've placed and I will continue to do business with him. He's a to the point guy and I like that.

I've done about an order a month for the last year with no complaints. I've weighed the bulk rock (5 lb lots) and it is bang on honest.
My last order was delayed due to a system crash on Shaw's end. He sent me 4 lbs of bonus grit without any complaint from me.
I have been looking for a particular finding in silver that no one seams to offer. I asked Shawn and he found me some.
This guy is above and beyond expectation.
