Rockhunter --- you wouldn't be talking about the "Roc Doc" would you -- over by buena vista ? -- I normally go to cashe creek just north of there but this year we're trying a different place--------- one year I started in rico ( southwest corner) and hit every rock shop I could find listed all the way back ---- had square tires by the time I got home ! ;D --- think there was three of them that went out of business cause they didn't have enough rock left to sell --- seems like there is another down by salida too ----in kind of a narrow vally and has piles of rock all over , and a "whatever box" right as you turn in the drive -----------

Yeah The ROCK DOC- Cindy Peralt and her husband Dirk at prospectors village. I have known them for over 12 years now and they are great people. Taking Ken there for a look and final tuning for gold!! May take Ken to Cache creek but for sure to point bar. Then to a special area near Buckskin Joes out of Alma. That is if he and Donna survive the agate hunting in Hartsel and others.

I can't wait, Dicky hope you are prepared for unlady like behavior I have been known to get muddy from head to toe. I Love rocks and never ceased to be amazed at the beauty the earth holds. I am looking forward to the gold panning, it is something I have always wanted to do, that was my #1 thing to do this year! Donna

We got here yesterday afternoon and ran thru a terrible t-storm in Colorado Spgs. Got to Green Mtn. Falls and there is snow on Pike's Peak. Came across Kansas and from Dodge City on the smell is terrible. Cow feed lots every few miles. Also, every 10 miles is a 35 mph town with nothing in it except a liquor store. ;D ;D Donna will post pix of the snow later tonight. Ken
