Ah, sorry to bother you Mr. Obama, Sir. . ...
Excuse me Mr. Obama, I mean President Obama, Sir. Um . . I know you're busy, and important and stuff. I mean, running the country is very important and -- ah -- I hate to bother you, Sir. I will only take a minute. Ok, Sir?
See, I have these missing pieces that are holding me up, and I was wondering, Sir, if you could take time out of your busy schedule and help me out. You know, no big deal, just some loose ends and things.
Hey, you have a nice place here! The wife sees houses like this on TV all the time and says, boy, she wishes she had digs like this, you know? Is that painting real? Really? Wow! I saw something like that in a museum once. Oh, sorry Sir. I didn't mean to get off the track.
So if you could just help me out a minute and give me some details, I will get right out of your way. I want to close this case and maybe take the wife to Coney Island or something. Ever been to Coney Island Sir? No? I didn't think so...
Well, listen, anyway, I can't seem to get some information I need to wrap this up. These things seem to either be "Not released" or "Not available." I'm sure it's just an oversight or glitch or something, so if you could you tell me where these things are I have them written down here somewhere -- oh wait. I'll just read it to you.
Could you please help me find these things, Sir?
1. Occidental College records -- Not released 2. Columbia College records -- Not released 3. Columbia Thesis paper -- "Not available" 4. Harvard College records -- Not released 5. Selective Service Registration -- Not released 6. Medical records -- Not released 7. Illinois State Senate schedule -- Not available 8. Your Illinois State Senate records -- Not available 9. Law practice client list -- Not released 10. Certified Copy of original Birth certificate -- Not released 11. Embossed, signed paper Certification of Live Birth -- Not released 12. Record of your baptism -- Not available
13. Why your wife, Michelle, can no longer practice law as an attorney? (Insurance Fraud?_
15. Why were you getting "foreign student aid" as a college student?
16. Which countries "passport" did you have when you visited Pakistan in 1981?
Oh and one more thing Mr. President, I can't seem to find any articles you published as editor of the Harvard Law Review, or as a Professor at the University of Chicago. Can you explain that to me, Sir?
Oh, but hey -- listen! I know you're busy! If this is too much for you right now -- I mean -- tell you what. I'll come back tomorrow. Give you some time to get these things together, you know? I mean, I know you're busy. I'll just let myself out. I'll be back tomorrow. And the day after. . ... What's that Mr. President? Who wants to know these things? We the People of the United States of America ! You know, the ones that vote.
SEND THIS OUT TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS..... I (WE) WANT TO KNOW .....

They've been trying to check the facts, but the documents aren't forthcoming. Looks like maybe Mr. O is trying to hide something.

I have a very firm grip on reality. The reality is that Obama can't or won't produce these documents, and put an end to all of these doubts. It would appear that he has something to hide. If he has nothing to hide, then why won't he put an end to it, once and for all ?

Don ... you will lose all credibility if you continue to make allegations that are false and have been proven to be false time after time...and Papat can agree all he wants but he too will lose face for spreading blatant lies

BLATANT LIES? ? ? ? It's a fact. Obama has never, nor will he ever produce any of these documents. He continues to loose face by refusing to do so. Oh, and these aren't allegations. They are questions that a vast and growing number of the populace would like answered. Only the Obama groupies who follow blindly like good little sheep continue to believe that he has nothing to hide. Did you notice that another of his top advisers resigned today ? Like rats from a sinking ship, one by one they're leaving him .

IMO if he were unable to produce a valid Hawaii birth certificate he would have presented a good fake one a long time ago, he only leaves it hanging out there to keep peoples eyes on the "birthers" to distract from the real issues, like him being the most incompetent POTUS in most of our lifetimes. Sure, he has probably got as much to hide as the rest of us, but those aren't the current issues that we need to stay focused on to keep him from being re-elected. Whitewater may have contributed much to BJ Clintons re-election by getting people distracted from the real issues.

I agree with Lee! Well put. Also I hate to admit this but Michelle Obama did voluntarily withdraw her law license. I have checked every thing on the web and there is no indication of any fraud or corruption of any kind. This does not make me like what the Obama Presidency is or will be doing. I think the man meant it when he said he wanted to transform the US of A and he is trying his best to make us a socialist country. I think he will be stopped but much damage is already done. Tanya

While I do believe Obama has a lot to hide re his past, I agree with Lee that there's a lot more wrong with the guy that just being secretive about his hstory. Aside from being an arrogant and very crappy president that doesn't give a damn about anything but personal power and promoting his socialist ideas, he is trying to transform the country into something most of us do not want. I think this is clear to most folks in the country now and the major goal we should all have is to dump this guy and all his supporters ASAP......Mel;

Obama said in one of his pre-election campaign speeches "We are going to fundamentally change America." It is unfortunate that so many were not bright enough to do some research on this guy so they would understand what he meant. Anybody that did the slightest bit of research would have known that he is a Marxist and what kind of fundamental changes he meant.
The guy is just damn scary! Even more scary is the fact that there are so many people that know so little about socialism, Marxism, etc. that they were swayed by his pretty words and voted for him. Personally, I have always thought he is a terrible public speaker - hell, without the teleprompter, he can hardly string a cohesive paragraph together.
My hero, Thomas Jefferson, is spinning in his grave!

Since this letter sounds remarkably like the dialog that detective Columbo would have on one of his shows, I am going to assume that is who wrote it. Therefore…. Dear Mr. Columbo, I was amused to receive your letter full of phony claims and accusations, most of which have been around since my campaigning days, and which have long since been dismissed as garbage. But, I will play along for laughs and giggles. First of all, you can quickly dismiss many of the accusations by going here to read the facts you never bothered to look for: www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/c/columbo-obama.htm or here: www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthers/occidental.aspBut, if you are not interested in looking up any facts, let’s go over a few of your claims just to see if you know what you are talking about at all… <<Why your wife, Michelle, can no longer practice law as an attorney? (Insurance Fraud?) The truth is that Michelle, by her own choice, voluntarily became inactive as a lawyer in llinois, according to the state’s attorney registration Web site. The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois lists no record of any disciplinary action against either Mrs. Obama or President Obama. Since this is the case, Mr. Columbo, perhaps you can explain why you are intentionally misleading people by saying that she “can no longer practice law”. In light of the other “misleadings” you are guilty of, it will become obvious after awhile. Here is another great example: << Why were you getting "foreign student aid" as a college student? This original…um…”story” was published as a hoax, on April 1, 2009 (since you don’t seem to be too clever at figuring out fact from fiction, I will point out that April 1 is April Fool’s day) The organization involved in “discovering” this information , “Americans for Freedom of Information”, did not even exist at that time. The people who were behind this disinformation even posted the fact on a website (http://amfoi.wordpress.com/2009/07/02/another-chump-walks-with-whisper/). Of course, the whole thing was a fabrication and had no real substance. But I noticed that, once again, you didn’t do your homework on this one either. Now, when it comes to the extreme fringe whacko birth certificate issue, let me just quote from the website factcheck.org: “We posted high-resolution digital photos of Obama’s "Certification of Live Birth" showing quite clearly that it is indeed embossed with the official state seal of Hawaii and also bears the signature of Hawaii state registrar Alvin T. Onaka (who uses a signature stamp for these things). As we reported, that document is legal proof of Obama’s citizenship, meeting the requirements for obtaining a U.S. passport from the State Department. A certified copy of an "original" birth certificate, presumably meaning whatever form was filled out at Kapi’olani hospital when Obama was born there on Aug. 4, 1961. Such a document may well exist, but it would be in the file drawers of the state of Hawaii, and the state does not release those. Since 2001, the only document the state gives to those who want proof of their birth is a "certification" like the one Obama released.” The Supreme Court of N.J. threw out the law suit contesting this, pretty much relegating it to the garbage can where it belongs. Another misinformation… (You’re on a roll, Mr. Columbo)… <<No medical records released? Check this report: blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2008/05/obama_releases_health_informat.htmlOr this goodie? << Illinois State Senate schedule -- Not available? Not true again…. :” The truth is that all the bills Obama sponsored or cosponsored, along with full transcripts of what he said on the Senate floor during his service between 1997 and 2004, can be found on the Web site of the Illinois Legislature <<Record of Baptism? Wow…. how is this relevant to the office of the President? Really, Mr. Columbo… haven’t you heard of the first Amendment to the constitition which basically says no one has to pass a religious litmus test to be in office? <<Client list? Now, Mr. Columbo, since you are supposedly in law enforcement, haven’t you heard about lawyer/client confidentiality? I mean, isn’t that something they taught you at the police academy.. or were you sleeping in that class? Do you really expect any lawyer to provide you with a total list of their clients? By now it is obvious that you are just playing the old “guilt-by-insinuation” game. You know.. throw out some unfounded statements and maybe you can sucker enough people into believing some of it is true. Thanks for your letter, but I hope you won’t be offended if I hire Barney Fife instead if I ever need a detective. Sincerely, Your President

Nice rebuttal, Vance.
I don't like Obama, and I want him gone in 2012 - but this kind of rumor-mongering is just dumb. Don't you think that if there was a shred of proof that Obama was unqualified to be president that the Republicans or some independant/non-partisan group wouldn't have proven it in court already?
This is the same as the Democrats saying Bush stole elections. If there was any way that it could have been proven, he wouldn't have been president for 8 years.

I was trying to give the poster a way out to save face because these allegations have been considered and proven false time after time...Extremism is ruining this Country. Only extremists and ideologists like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannitty or Glenn Beck Or Sarah Palin give any credence to these types of accusations and they themselves are generally clever enough to say things like...Citizens for Truth and Justice and The American Way Forever and Ever said ... etc, etc ... clearing themselves from any lying by implicating Extremist Groups that sound like Patriotic Organizations.
It is unfortunate but people keep getting suckered in by false accusations. I remember the WMD argument for the Iraqi war was proven to be false. Even Bush and Cheney finally admitted there were no WMDs and that they were wrong....Still the True believers still think there were WMDs .. Maybe they were hidden in the desert. Or Saddam sent them to Iran for safekeeping (really! Saddam would send his weapons to his mortal enemies for safekeeping!). The truth is that extremist supporters suspend disbelief no matter how absurd the claim may be and make excuses for their side. Charlie

Speaking of lying and twisting the truth, have you seen some of the adds put out by the Dems lately ? Pure desperation.
As for the WMD's, there were plenty of Dems who also believed Sadam had them, as did leaders and intelligence agencies from around the world. Didn't see the Dems stepping up and saying there weren't WMD's. And who's to say ? Have they dug up every square yard of that big sand box over there ? Sadam had plenty of underground bunkers. It would be no trick to build them out in the middle of nowhere, and cover them with a few feet of sand. The only documentation being GPS readings in a notebook. I know you're going to say, where's the proof? I say to you, where's the disproof ? As for the poster of the original thread that got this started. It was sent to me by an old war vet who is laying in a VA hospital. I only posted it to get a laugh out of people. I had no idea that someone would come completely unglued and go ballistic over it.
