nice entry kurt! how do you smooth out the finish? Sand paper?
I tried all day today to get my entry done, but I just can't get all the darn scratches out past 220 grit. so frustrating! I guess it's time for new diamond belts.

Lookit the intense color in that cab! Nice work Curt! I started mine sunday. Found a piece of chrysocolla Weeshan sent me looong ago when I first started this hobby. I thought what a perfect piece to use for a "killer cab"... I got all the way to sanding and found some fractures in it. Polished it up anyway (daughter Emily claimed it "wrap it for me Daddy!") Will cut something else for this comp. hopefully tonight. Nate

Yikes, what a beauty Curt!
Love the color. Super layout and workmanship. The shape is perfect to capture all the sweetness in the material.

Ok, I'm in!!! Here is what I bought as TeePee Canyon, but Mel seems to think it's DryHead. Googled both and they look so similar that I just don't know..... guessing it could be DryHead cuz Mell has only been wrong 1% of the time Rough: Freeform - Preform: Cab: And the shine... couldn't resist! Since I bought my leather belt from John JSGems that Woody manufactures, I have been in awe. The gloss happens in minutes rather than the hour it used to take me.... loving it!!!:
