Thanks guys! Will check it out when I have time. My younger son was excited about geocaching a few years ago... today, all they care about is girlfriends *rollseyes*. It sounds like it's worth revisiting tho, thanks for bringing it up:)!!!
Lowell, no worries, it usually takes them a day or so to 'register' the shipping... and yours already registered, so should be a couple days to get there:). My PO is insanely efficient, and usually it's 2 days no matter the destination in the Continental USA. Some PO's are not so fast and take 3-4 days. No worries, it will get there:).

Wow at the materials that Lowell placed in the box!! Very nice!! Hi, Matt, haven't ever done any geocaching before, but had a friend that enjoyed doing it with her family. Matt, what's a Geocacher? You mean hide and seek with a GPS? If so, no, I'm not, but it sounds like fun. ROFL, got a bit tickled when I read Pat's post.

I got the box! It looks like everything is intact from what I've seen so far. Today is Matt's birthday and I had school so I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet. I will have them done by tomorrow night though for sure.

I appreciate the patience most of you have shown and would like to apologize for the delay. I can't get my stupid photobucket to upload the photos so I'm going to have to upload them one at a time through here...Ugh.. The two agates on the right were gifts from Lowell. Thank you so much! Sorry Again.

That's a picture of things I took and here's the picture of what I put back in... One is a necklace I made. I'm hoping someone can find a better way to attach the pendant. I've yet to master drilling holes, so I didn't want to chance it. The other thing I added was 10 pairs of clip-on earring findings. I've found that they are hard to come by since almost everyone has pierced ears...

After getting it ok'd by Helen, I'm going to hold off on shipping the box until Monday. Most of what I consider to be my "good rocks" are still at the old house. We are for sure going there tomorrow so I can get them. Is that okay with everyone?

Jeeze, if you are in the middle of a move that is all the excuse you need. Moving sucks and I wish you the best with that. I have a move coming up as soon as it warms up and I am trying to decide whether to move or cut my own throat. Jim

x2 on Jim's comment (about moving, that is ). That's a total pain. We moved right before Christmas 2008 and I will never move again. Ever. I'm going to die in this house. ugh. So, yes, please take your time. Matt - happy birthday. Paul

I think everyone has the right to decide if they want to live or die, but that's a philosophical position. No one I know REALLY has that right! Anyway, there are plenty of places you haven't been, things to see, things to do. Go see them, and then tell us about it so we can wish we were you:)!!!

Yeah, we've been trying to move just a piece at a time until everything is here. Luckily, our new house is only about 45 minutes from the other one so we didn't need to rent a U-haul.... We did, however, manage to get some of my rocks so I added more things to the box :-) The slab in the top right is red tiger's eye with hematite. The two things in the back are Kentucky geodes. (I think it'd be neat it Paul's little rock hound got those) The black slabs are fancy obsidian. This stuff is gorgeous! I couldn't ever manage to get a true polish on it with my dremel on the other pieces I've cut from, so I'm passing them along. The chunk of rock in the bottom right is llanoite (not sure if I'm spelling that right), and the final thing just above it is a slab I cut from a Blue G nodule. I've got it addressed already and will tape it up and send it on its way tomorrow edit: I removed the pendant from the necklace I posted a picture of earlier. I did leave the necklace itself in the box, though.

Alisha, apparently your photo is very large. I can only see the purple obsidian in your hand ---- and it is a beauty! I cannot imagine moving and putting together a box at the same time. I salute you!

I accidentally left out the top photo. I just modified the post to add the picture. Oops... Sorry about that!

That is a gorgeous color Alisha:)! I like the hematite too:).
I didn't realize you were moving! I know you recently got married, and that you were starting school this week, and you were moving TOO? Good grief... Alisha, you should have asked me to move you to farther back in the swap. I hope you enjoyed the box during this hectic time anyway, tho I'm sure you would have enjoyed it better in a more relaxed time!!!
