That is a gorgeous color Alisha:)! I like the hematite too:). I didn't realize you were moving! I know you recently got married, and that you were starting school this week, and you were moving TOO? Good grief... Alisha, you should have asked me to move you to farther back in the swap. I hope you enjoyed the box during this hectic time anyway, tho I'm sure you would have enjoyed it better in a more relaxed time!!! It's fine, Helen. I really didn't want to burden you with finding another place to put me on the list. It really lifted my spirits when I came home from school and saw it sitting there. Matt said I lit up like a little kid on Christmas morning. Lol

GGGAAAAAAA Helen. it was a joke. I hate pain so there is no way I would cut my throat. Bullets are best.
Cool stuff Alisha but I think you put in more than you took out. Just for that we are not going to go and help you move. Jim

I can't help it, Jim. I'm more of a giver by nature :-P Anyways, the box is on its way. It was a little cheaper to mail it in a regional box, so I switched it all over. I hope that's not breaking any rules... Here's the tracking number: 0309 1140 0000 7472 8925 I hope you guys like the stuff I added to it! Thanks again for the wedding gift, Lowell!

Wow Alisha, your goodies are all excellent, I like them all!!! I have noticed that somehow, there are a lot of givers in this hobby and that’s very interesting as I’m myself like that as well. This is funny, perhaps we as a group have more things in common than we realize! ;D I really hope that everybody likes the things I will send as well. I really have to get ready very soon and open some boxes to try to find interesting things that the next members will like, because this box is moving pretty fast! Latest News: - I already pm colliel82 with my information so that part is done. - Alisha's tracking number is already working and the USPS site is estimating that the box will be reaching its new destination next Wednesday - Expected Delivery By: January 16, 2013.

Alisha, I'm glad you like them. They're just do-hickey dust collectors, but I hope fun. What I forgot to put in was a couple pieces of rhodochrosite from my secret stash. Plum forgot. You would have had fun with the stuff.
General note: You know - I don't know what's better - going first and watching everyone pick out items you might have placed, or going later and having that sweet anticipation of watching the box travel through all those points on its way around the county and wondering what might go into the thing next...
(To think - that box is going to be better traveled than I am - is it wrong to be jealous of a piece of glued together cardboard?)

Very nice and pretty gifts you received from Lowell, Alisha! Did you get one of the LR opal rubs? Nice materials and jewelry pieces you placed in the box, too.

hi all, first let me say thanks to helen for your custom made art work, it's beautiful. i did not take photo's, just not much time dealing with family things. and a good friend being to 2 different hospitals, 2 different states for congestive heart failure being sent home because there's nothing they can do for him. i know it sounds like one of those recent "stories" anyway what i took from the box was the red tigerseye slice, i slice of rainbow? obsidian, 1 unknown slab, 1 agate slice, 1 small opal, 1 fire opal. i had the box for less than 24 hours. what i put in was slabs, cabs, preforms, small tumbles, 1 wire wrap, and a tumbled rock critter made by me. i hope that diane may be able to take pics of items for you to see. the delivery confirmation # is 0312 0860 0000 7979 5322 and expected delivery says 1-19 i'd be surprised if it gets there sat. but miracles do happen, just not for or to me. mark.

I'm sorry for your friend, I hope he gets better.
The things you took seems great as well as the thing you placed, I'm very curious about the rock critter, probably a very cute one!
Fast fast fast this is going very fast! Amazing if it actually gets there on Saturday ;D

The box is already in UT and in the sort facility at 9:23 am, I think a little late to be delivered today, but who knows.

Mark, hope your friend is better soon!!
If you have taken any pix, someone here would be happy to help you figure out how to upload them. Or, you can email them to me and I can do it for you if you'd like. If you didn't take any pix, well, guess we can't do that. Hope everything looks up for you very soon!!!

We've had a bit of a snag in getting the franklinite and fluorescents. The Sterling Hill collecting area has been under snow for the last few weeks. If anyone was really looking forward to that stuff, let me know. I have some hanging around that can go in. Can't guarantee the fluorescents, I only have long wave UV to check here.
However, my wife is determined to give our new saw a hernia and we are up to our eyeballs in slabs. Some of them are going in for sure!
