Box looks great to me Diane! Thanks to you, Mark and Alisha for putting in such wonderful things in the box!!
Jim, I told Diane that if she didn't have small things to put in, it should not be her obligation to reduce the box to a Med, and there's people after her who have smaller, jewelry type items like cabs or wraps who want larger slabs. There are TEN people ahead of you Jim, so no worries:).
This is also why I request pictures of the complete box, so the next person doesn't get TOO much of a surprise!
This is supposed to be fun for everyone, and something to look forward to... if it's not fun, then as the organizer, it's my fault, because I didn't clarify enough. I had pm'd Diane earlier asking her about the rest of the pix, and I too was more short than I should have been. Now 2 of us have given Diane a hard time about nothing. Save the hard time for the person before you (Geoff - LOL!), OK:)?
Also, please remember, we need 4 pix: 1. all contents in 1 group shot 2. what you are taking out 3. what you are adding and as Diane posted, a shot before it ships to see condition of packing (and size).
Communicate with the people before/after you so you guys know what's going on. Part of the fun of the box is to make new friends, so talk to the person before and after you with the box, it's all about learning and having FUN!!!
**edited to shorten my excessive blah blah:P

If you read my post you will see that I named Mark and did not mean to upset Diane. She received it that way and I am sorry for upsetting you Diane.
The reason I was really harsh is because last time it ended up being two boxes and a total mess with people angry at each other. I was hoping I would stress it hard enough to make believers out of the people down the line. Everyone angry with me is better than a bunch of angry people down the line.
I am going to delete it and I apologize to everyone for being so nasty but I have been called a grumpy old man before and it is probably true.
I hope that is over and we can have a bunch of fun with this. I really enjoy watching the box go down the line. Jim

No one's angry, Jim:). Just needed some more clarification is all.... take PIX, then there's no surprises!!! ASK the person before you assume, and if you want them to take MORE out of the box, say it to them.
I mean Dora probably would like a bigger box, so why cut down Dora's box when you don't get it for 10 more boxes yourself? You can ask Geoff to pillage the box, right:)? And, YOU may not like a large box, but *I* (and many others) would love more goodies to paw through, and wouldn't mind being asked to TAKE MORE STUFF if the next person MUST have a Med box! By now, Diane's surely convinced some of us (me and you) are NUTS!!! Welcome to RTH!!! LOL! (I'm only 1/2 joking!) It's all good, be happy:).
(you need to stop reading all those dumb news articles that raise your blood pressure:P).

Jim, don't worry about it, I'm not upset with you, I just wanted to respond to your concerns.
I know from here on out it will be smooth sailing for the box and everyone is going to have a great time taking stuff out and putting stuff in.
Dora, be ready for an awesome box full of goodies. Hope it is there by Saturday so you can have the weekend to peruse its contents.

Great stuff in there! Sorry I haven't been more active in the thread, the flu has been tearing through our house over the last couple weeks. First my son, then wife, now me. Fat lotta good those vaccines did this year...
I promise I won't cough in the box ;D

This is really doing great !!! I have been lurking on this thread every chance I get, but haven't said a lot. I'm new to all this and really trying to absorb everything going on so I am ready when my turn comes.... eventually!! lol
Been slabbing new material, new to me anyways, and should have some to add to the box also. so, even though I am near the end of the travels, it's nice to see how it all works, and next time I will be more to the middle/front so as to give more a chance to enjoy what I have to add to the box... besides a few lakers!!
<can't wait for the box to get to me... got a surprise for TNT/Krystee to put in there!!!> <<insert evil laugh here>>

Thanks to all for the nice comments! Yesterday I was very busy with everything but today I had a really nice time examining some of the things I got. I also searched the thread to identify some of the things to label. Diane, as I got to inspect your Red Horn Coral from Utah I really noticed that it’s truly spectacular, looks way more beautiful than in pictures, and the Dino bone slab was a great new experience to me as I never had any previous contact with one, I’m so glad I went after you and was able to get them! Another thing I got to inspect well was Helen’s Arrow with a heart, Helen did you do it yourself? That was another love at first sight piece, very well done and unique! I love everything I got, they will keep me busy for a while. ;D
