I think you may be referring to Premier Williams who is the head of Newfoundland, not the prime minister. Anyone can go anywhere for their medical care. I hear many Americans come to Canada with mysterious health ID cards all the time.

I have had a heart attack. I am far from being rich.......just about as far as one can get. Yet I had the best healthcare available. No, not only the rich get to enjoy our healthcare.
When Obamacare takes full effect, we will no longer get to brag about the best healthcare in the world.
So how about it sheeple, why did Congress exempt themselves from Obabmacare?

No, it’s not irrelevant. Why pollute your argument with nonsense fit for a fauxnews swilling nitwit? [Even if it's directed at fauxnews swilling nitwits.] You might as well start your post with, “Hey, y’all. I got this email . . . “ ;D Lmao!

Did you not read my post? Elvis True story, you can believe it or not. My brother had open heart surgery. He did not have insurance. He stayed in ICU for what seemed like forever. He had another heart attack in ICU. He died and they brought him back. The cost was well over $100,000. He pays the hospital $25 a month and will for the rest of his life. I think $25 a month for the rest of your life isn't a bad deal for having your life saved by the best healthcare availible in the world. I don't know where you get your info but it isn't anything but WRONG. Curt

You know what $70 per month for health care per person for everyone sounds great. However from the little that I have been able to find out about Obamacare is seems that after you exceed 400% above poverty you are on your own left to choose a plan that gets no benefit from the Obamacare My health insurance will not go down or become more affordable if anything it is going to go up as the insurance companies will be looking to recover their losses on the people in my economic bracket. Yes I make six figures I worked 16 hours a day and at time seven days a week to get there. I don't make 74,000,000 a year and I don't have an off shore account. Why is everything tied to income why not raate the premiums based upon life style. Why should a person who sits around and smokes drinks eats a high fat diet and does not excercise deserve to pay the same rate for insurance as a person who does not. If I have a poor driving record I get a higher auto insurance premium. Why not the same for health care? Stu

That's irrelevant Rich, WHY is someone making 21 million a year paying 14%? No wonder our roads are falling apart, our children dying, our economy a mess. We went from 92% to 0% in some cases for millionaire tax, with the AVERAGE millionaire paying 14%, and wonder what happened. What can you afford when your income drops to 1/5 of what it was? Everyone says the millionaires pay 70% of the tax, so when they went from 92% to 14%, the federal income went where? The problem is so painfully obvious, I still don't get why it's hard for people to comprehend. No one's trying to abuse the rich, it's preventing the rich from pulling yet another fast one that people can't seem to get. Why is one person person paying $2,940,000 (14% or $21,000,000) not enough?

Sheeple??!! Did you know the average sheep is twice as fast as Usain Bolt? I’m guessin’ Jake found that out the hard way. ;D Nope. But I'm guessing you own a pair of loose fitting boots. Don't you Rich.

Great f**cking system, huh? As long as you pay SOMETHING EVERY month, your credit score is not affected. Miss ONE month and you're toast. Curt

[Even if it's directed at fauxnews swilling nitwits.] You might as well start your post with, “Hey, y’all. I got this email . . . “ ;D It's irrelevant because the POINT is that the rich are in fact paying LESS than those who make less than they are. Debating the fine points of how many pennies less is irrelevant to the main point. I see your side point of 'most of you don't pay any taxes anyway, why get your panties in a bunch', but that doesn't change the point. Anyway, I already know you'll follow behind to correct it, so I give you something fun to do... this is after all the 4th time you've brought it up:P?

If Obamacare is soooooooooooooo damned wonderful, why did the President, House members, and Senate members exempt themselves? When they come up with a plan that's good enough for themselves, I'm all in. If Canadian healthcare is soooooooooo damned wonderful, why did the Prime Minister come here for heart surgery? Obamacare sucks and all the politicans know it does. It's you sheeple that think it's soooooooo damned wonderful Curt Exempt themselves? What are you talking about? the Exchange being set up in 2014 is the IDENTICAL policy that Congress is going to have. Read the gov't site for it, and I even posted the quote on the other thread from there.

It's you sheeple that think it's soooooooo damned wonderful Curt Healthcare is divided into specialties, we have the best heart surgeons and I believe the best cancer specialists. That doesn't mean we have the best everything, and we are so far down in 'general' health care we're #70 worldwide for Health Care per WHO.
