The box did make it today it just hadn't made it to my hand. I opened it and the wrap is spectacular. Thank you so much Chris. I love it.
I trashed my back today so I probably won't be able to get the pics up until tomorrow. I might be able to sit back and wrap one of the cabs so it will be ready to go tomorrow or Thursday. This is a really fun deal. Krista, start another one so we have two going and another one will come around faster. I am hooked. Jim

Ok, here we go with the photos. First up is the awesome wrap I received from cccbock (Chris) right? This thing is awesome, stone, wrap and the combination of the two together. I remember seeing it when it was posted and commented on it then. I am going to have to check the rules because I forgot how this works. I think it goes something like "take three of the cabs to a tropical island and wrap the ugliest one that I do not want, give another one that I do not want to a pretty island lady, pick up three rocks there and come home. Make two cabs out of the ugliest two rocks and put them in a paper bag along with two other cabs that I do not want. Mail the bag to someone that I don't even know and probably never will know. If I am a little off here please let me know. The birds eye rhyolite (jeeze, I don't even know how to spell rhyolite according to my computer) smacked me right in the eyeballs when I saw it. First time I have had a piece in my hand so I am going to keep that and maybe one more. There are some really really nice other cabs in this bunch. I will get my wrap done and get this sent off tomorrow. Jim

Oooo!!! Chris what a beautiful wrap! Jim you got lucky with that one! What beautiful stones! The box is really growing! You guys are all so amazing! Jim, next up is Tommy so I'll see if he's ready. I'm sorry to hear about your back Jim, I hope it doesn't give you too much trouble. I was going to ask you to do some work for me but then I saw your post and thought I'd just post it on the buy/sell/trade forum. Feel better soon okay? I'll message you the address when I hear from Tommy! Krista

I missed the go to a tropical island part of this. Can I redo my turn?
Good luck with your back, don't push it!

Ask away Krista. My back comes and goes depending on how hard I push it. Lately I have been pushing it but I am almost finished with my project. I am curious to see what you have in mind since I am kind of tuned into your crazy mind. lol Jim

****Tangent Alert**** Jim, My ideas aren't _that_ crazy! This one is pretty simple just need someone to do it lol. So I bought this beautiful slab of Feather Ridge Plume Agate, I intend to paint a pretty little winter scene on it but as I usually only buy cabs not slabs it didn't click that when the pictures said "wet" that meant it wasn't polished, I know, I'm silly. Anyway, it still has slabbing/saw marks and I'd like it at least to not have those if not a nice matte to semi-glossy polish to it so I can still paint on it and it look nice you know? Here's the seller's pic, the slab is 5" x 4" x 6.2mm thick: And my picture with an awful camera phone but it shows the marks I want to get rid of: I have two other slabs I'm willing to trade and if that's not enough I'll pay a bit more as Krystee (tntmom) told me polishing slabs takes the right tools and quite a bit of skill because they are flat. Here are the two slabs I have to trade: Ice Cream Opal Approximately 2.5" x 2" x 5.6mm thick: Very Pretty Mystery Slab Approximately 4" x 3.5" x 5.6mm thick I've got an offer from Dave (Snowdog) saying he'd give it a go so no worries if you don't have the right tools

I will do it for just the slabs and would almost be willing to pay you a little. There is no way I can pass up that pink and white ice cream opal. Pink is my favorite and that looks a lot like my wampidy sunrise so I want to compare them. I might even throw in a couple of cabs you might like.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DOUBLE WRAP THOSE SLABS WITH HEAVY CARDBOARD SO THEY DO NOT BREAK. Not yelling at you. lol Just want to let you know how important it is to wrap them in cardboard then fill the box with something so they do not fly around in the box. The best I have found is crumpled news paper or other similar paper.
The weather is going to H E double L on Monday so I will be back inside where it is warm. This will be a good reason for me to fire up the machines again. There are three or four slabs sitting on my machine part way polished so I can work them all together. I will be able to send it back the day after I receive it. Jim

OH NO! Jim I didn't hear from you (for all of less than 24 hours, I know I'm impatient as all get out) so I sent it on to snowdog this morning I jumped the gun thinking you would still be laid up a bit with your back. I'm sorry He says he's going to cab up the slabs and send them back so maybe I'll pass that little pink and white ice cream opal on to you since I feel bad now Hmm I think I need to put something together for you. I will think on this Oh, I know! He he he But you'll just have to wait! It may be a week or so before it gets in the mail. *BIG HUG* Sorry for thinking you were down and out :/ Krista

Chris did a great wrap! It looks like there's plenty to choose from, too. I see some of that Wampidy unusual jasper agate in there. That stuff is so cool in person.

I thought yesterday was Friday and did not get to the PO before noon. I have a terrible time keeping track of the days since I retired. So, unless there is a catastrophe the box Will go out on Monday. Jim

No worries Jim! With my work schedule there's no way I could turn it around before next weekend anyway.
I'm looking forward to taking my turn and dragging the quality of the game down a notch or two... heehee

It is on it's way Tommy. I didn't get it into the mail Saturday so I had to go out in three inches of snow today. Jeeze, it was 65 yesterday.

...trudge through the snow... uphill... both ways (tee hee!)
You know what you can do about that, Jim. Where's that global warming when you need it?

I got the box tonight - it's a very beautiful wrap Jim thanks! I did my best to take a nice photo but I can say that it still looks even better in person for sure. All the cabs were very beautiful - I was torn but I decided to keep these: And put these back in... Green moss agate, prudent man plume agate, and stone canyon jasper (I tink). I'm not going to say which one I'm wrapping - maybe because I haven't decided yet - finalists include but are not limited to Jim's beautiful Wampidy sunrise, a beautiful faceted labradorite cab, or even the dendritic agate on the left side of the "keeping" photo above. I hope to have the wrap done and shipped out by the weekend if all goes well.
