Well the wife wants new knobs and pulls for the bathroom once it's remodeled. I am thinking along the lines of using what's on hand. I've got a big hunk of that "kalidescope" agate mixture of chrysocolla, flourite and whatever else is in there. Since it is not the most durable stuff the thought was to back it with obsidian and then glue to these knob bases www.dlawlesshardware.com/knob-making-bases.html . What are the odds that they will stay on ? I do like the blanks from the recent post where Chuck made a whole set forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/63850/full-cabs-kitchen-cabinet-hardware but those are a bit pricey based on the other things she wants done in the room. Any thoughts or ideas ?

I think I would use basanite instead of obsidian, being that it's glass it may tend to chip. Excellent prices on the drawer pull bases.
