So how does it heal? Do you lick it if you get sick?

So how does it heal? Do you lick it if you get sick? The purchaser licks, looks, remembers how much he's out, and gets sick.

I realize that obsidian is as common as bird poop out west; but, that is an exceptional piece of RO . 26 bucks a pound is expensive, but I don't think too much so for the quality. That would be in the malachite price range ballpark and much cheaper than many rock types. I wouldn't buy it, but I hope if someone does that they keep it whole as a display piece.

I believe the healing works on the frequency of the stone. Every stone has different frequency for different uses. But that's a beautiful piece.

So do I whack it with a hammer to hear the frequency? Or do you mean how frequently they occur in nature? I don't run across obsidian very frequently in Michigan.

I just have experience with the dolomite I collect locally. I have friends who are reiki masters that use all kinds of different stones.

True Reiki Masters only use their palms for the healing......Most people don't believe in stone healing or powers,I don't either....But as said, opinions very.......Interesting subject though....Thumbs up... I mean no disrepect either.....

Don't we all sell rocks? Actually I have been giving them away to people I feel need them. Pretty amazing to see them work :)I am a true sceptic and will test and try everything to prove or disprove it. I can weed out the fakes pretty quick. Fossilman, I don't take it as disrespect. Everyone is comfortable with different things and someone elses belief isn't required for something to work or not work. Most illness is related to nutrition, but in some cases it takes a slightly different approach to correct things.

I should add that I don't believe that someone should charge more for the healing aspect. Also the buyer must realize that no matter how it's advertised, it's the same rock with the same properties at any price. An example that comes to mind are "bogi balls" pyrite concretions that are sold by the metaphisical dealers for as high as $125/pr. I wouldn't sell them for more than maybe $10/pr considering they are for the most part waste from the coal power plant. I got $20 for a pair of the dolomite palm stones I make, but that is what someone gave me for them when I tried to give them away.

I can't speak of healing powers but can vouche for the quality of this seller's (Quinn) obsidian. I bought a big chunk of rainbow and it's a beaute!

10,000 pounds! There goes that idea. Wonder what freight is on 10,000 pounds.

1dave, I agree. captbob, how many FRBs is that? I did buy a one pound piece of rainbow in Q a couple years ago for $25, but it was awesome. Other than that, I've got some great quality obsidian for $1-$3/ pound.
