In just a few days I'll be getting a package of 5 variations of the Chicken Tracks jasper. I'll post them as soon as I can. Cannot wait to see your pics of your Chicken Track jasper, jakesrocks. Are the different variations because of color or pattern in the material? or silicification? Not sure if silicification is the correct term? I have a few slabs of Chicken Track and a large piece of rough showing the tracks if you would like for me to post them. bobby1 posted a very nice piece of the material on the forum showing some killer 'tracks.'

Jan, I've never seen the rough. I'd love to see the tracks, to see what they look like.
Variations are mostly in the colors.

Thank you, Don! I did not know that there are 5 different color variations in the Chicken Track jasper. I have a slab that is a mauve color with a landscape scene and one that has weird blue color to it. Here's the piece of rough. The color in the rough is kinda yellowish, but I take crappy photos. Chicken Track jasper I also wanted to post a link to bobby1's thread so you could see his awesome specimen of Chicken Track jasper. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/34550/why-turkey-track-jasper

Bullseye Blue Biggs!!!! Beautiful jaspers, roy, and I like your Fantasia jasper, jakesrocks! There are some very nice photos of materials from localities in and near the Owyhees that are in the Agate and Jasper database on the forum, too. Enjoyed looking through it again. Fossilman, have you had a chance to cut some pretties? (Get er done! )
