If the little vermin was eating all of my sunflower seeds, I'd probably shove an Estes rocket motor where the sun don't shine, and set it off. James, you could probably get in trouble for doing such, lol!

AWESOME PHOTO and not the vapor trail. Targets moving that fast are super hard to catch with no blur. TOTALLY IMPRESSED Jim

Definitely an amazing photo. You can even see the whiskers in focus, and those buggers are fast. The odds of you clicking the shutter at the right time are pretty lucky. Maybe a lottery thicket is in order if you are on a roll.

Even with the Ozzie camera she had to work to get the shots and thanks for compliments.

Amazing shot! I have not tried the "burst" feature on my camera yet. Seems to me the hardest part is the crisp focus with the shallow depth of field. Very tough shot to pull off.
Looks like he is going faster than his spirit...

Looks like he is going faster than his spirit... He comes and goes down that rail a dozen times a day to the feeder Bill. Denise scares him and has camera pre focused. It was also cropped at about 80% of frame. Add telephoto lens for 30 foot shot.

fantastic. How long did she have to lie in wait to capture that lil bugger? awesome photo! Pretty much came to the feeder every 15-20 minutes. Taking a cup of sunflower seed every hour or so. guess he is stashing them. The dogs chase him down the stairs regularly, he runs down the first 4 stairs and then scoots thru the stairs going airborne . No chance they will catch him. He's a gambler though.
