woodmanVery cool. That's a fantastic piece. Is it from Arizona? What I should have said is I can't polish it with the equipment I have. Maybe it's time for more equipment.
Later
Brent.

Brent. One always need more equipment. The grinder in the photo is Harbor freight and use diamond pads from ebay. water from squirt bottom. The grinder is a variable speed polisher. the wood is from the stinking water mountains of Oregon.

All these photos are smokin' hot!!! I too, have a huge hunk of pwtwood that needs a grinder taken to it-I have it parked in the front yard for now... Found it at Hollywood Ranch.. Here is another Hollywood Ranch find,I slabbed the other day-it's laced with Carnelian agate....Going to bring on a nice polish...

Fresh off the polisher. this is a nice 10 1/2 by 6 inch slab of Stinking Water Oak. 2015 find. The colors are a bit unusual for the area.

Polished this chunk today, really took a great polish. I got some more of this piece getting ready for book ends when I get around to them. I would like to wish everyone on this board A Happy New Year and Happy digging in 2016.
