Well "The Hammer" (James) and I are going to the Hollywood Ranch (Sweet Home,OR ) dig Saturday.......Lots of petwood there....
Going to be picky too,bring spray bottles with us to see what we dig.....
.50 cents a pound,can't beat that with a petrified stick...LOL

I'm sure I posted these a long time ago, but here's some Hampton Butte (I believe) petrified wood we picked up from a local estate several years ago. 
Sorry there's no size reference, the longest dimension is about a foot. |

This brute was found in Montana about 35 years ago,I finally cut it...Heavy and very solid! Agatized throughout-made it a tough cut!! Should hold a great polish...    |
