Today I spent about 4 hours on a tractor doing road maintenance. When I put the tractor away and was walking towards the house this little guy jumped out at me and said he would be a good subject for a photo. I like playing around with time exposures and different settings. When i don't have time or energy to work in the shop, I always have a time to take a few pictures.
Another small piece that I was playing around with today.

Since this was a find I HAVE to show you rockheads. Look at it sparkle. Of course after I took the video it went back into the rough grind Viking. . m.flickr.com/#/photos/136551163@N03/22922563505/Almost all the bigger red pieces have this inside. I have another one I'll post video of when I do another cleanout tomorrow or the next day. Intheswampwoodman it says it's still processing. Once it finally uploads it'll be available

woodman did you see the sparkly red wood link? Yes I did, amazing. What is it? Where is it from? I am glad I found this site, I am amazed at all the different materials that people share on here. My main interest is Wood, but I like all the different minerals. I never get tired of seeing something different.

It's the red and yellow variety just like in Arizona (so I'm told by local club member).

These came from an estate last year. They didna come with name tags, lol. I'm even worse at identifying petrified wood as I am at present day wood.
Wasn't going to say anything, but these were from a free estate sale, just so's ya know. So it wasn't like I was paying good money for something I didn't know the ID of.
Thought you might like those... Jean
