A few years back a friend of mine son was hunting dear when a pack came at him. He got 3 of the six.
A project I was on in northern BC. A pack chased a backhoe operator and he saved him self by jumping back in his hoe. They circled the hoe until help arrived.
Predators are no longer have a internal fear of humans. I know this first hand from working my claim in BC. Thanks to our gun laws greentards and the anti hunting groups. But they sure whine and cry when their precious pets get taken out of their backyards. Then they are all for killing cougars and bears. And us poor miners and foresters have to put up with these preds. Our only way to deal with it is to SSS. Otherwise if we report killing a bear. We are into a world of court cases and have our guns taken away.Because everyone knows that a bear charging at you just wants to be friends. Fippin greentards, would love to drop them off in the forest by themselves. They would change their minds real quick.

The big kitty cats are what worry me the most. Just think about what your house cat can do. Now times that a factor of 12.

Urban folks have issues with us country boys killing deer according to game regulations. It is simply a bunch of educated idiots that know nothing about the balance of nature and man's(their) encroachment in animal's space.
yes, their population needs to be controlled. We encroached. The alternative is a cruel death by starvation.
Death is part of life.

Nuh-uh, been there, done that, don't got one of those anymore. Five of them over a period of thirty years was enough for me to get that through my thick head. I got wise and decided to stick to dogs, at least they can appreciate their humans!
But I get it. Would NOT want to cross paths with a large one of those in the dark! With or without spots!
