What if I'm a bit past being a youngster, understand what you are talking about, but simply have no idea why you are continuing to talk about it here on Glenn's For Sale thread?
Consider it a public service announcement. Yeah, it's in the wrong spot (sorry glennz01), so sue me. I never was one to follow rules.
Funny, there were quite a few "misplaced" posts in this thread before mine, yet you chose to go off on mine? The straw that broke the camel's back, eh?
Could just go back and delete it, but I'm not here to make you happy. Oh, wait, I forgot. You DON'T like threads being deleted. Guess it will just stay put. Again, apologies to Glenn for going totally off-topic. (The thread had already been derailed, I was dragged into it.)
captbob, you can bite me! Try not to take life so seriously.

I dont send them in so i get them quarterly or more. Just suck it up and do it! Just once a year, and they'll quit sending them to you. Kaiser very big on keeping you healthy. I'm sure there are much worse things sent by USPS than hermetically sealed samples of poop mailed to a lab for testing.
FYI - If you are a youngster and have no idea what we are talking about, we are talking about a FOBT:
When you do this test (at home, mail in the sample), make sure that you do not take any NSAIDS for a week before doing it. They can cause small amounts of blood to be present, giving a false positive. After his last flexible sigmoidoscopy was performed, and nothing was found, mrrockpicker was told by the doctor that did the procedure that had he stopped taking NSAIDS before the FOBT, he would not have had to have the invasive test. Gee, too bad his old GP didn't tell him!! Could have avoided drinking all the colon-blo stuff, time of work, etc, etc. A simple test at home much preferred!!
And I am not putting those things in the mail either. Thats just nasty.

Barium aint nasty. Mostly insoluble. Unless its meant to go up your butt. On behalf of the millions of other men who ALSO had a colonoscopy a few days ago ... ouch. Had my 1st a year ago,it was a breeze-didn't mind it a bit...Clean was no big deal either...LOL On the bright side,I lost 7 pounds because of the procedure, four days of the dietary instructions... Wife hates them! Makes her mad that it was a breeze for me...

"unclesoska I think the slabs were normal slab thickness, They are not dyed however there is one slab I seen that has a red band and we aren't sure if somehow that band only got dyed or if it is natural (i'm leaning more on the natural side as that looks impossible to dye like that). I'm sure getting a package of 50 slabs will be no problem. I think he has some even larger ones which he sells in sets of 5 for $8." Normal slab sizes range from 3/16" to maybe 5/16". My project requires 1/4" or less. Please measure the thickness of the thinnest and thickest that he has. hi...if he doesn't have the slabs your looking for, we may be able to help us out with some killer Montana's. Just say the word...and we'll be on it.

so we've gone from poop to poaching however if you happen to notice (if were ref to my post) I specifically made the point that if they didn't have what the person was looking for theres a good chance I(we) do. That specific point is the "key" that defines poaching... And if the comments made Had absolutely nothing to do with me that super...its been a looooooooooong daaaaaaaaaay:)

does the purple ball below actually exist? If so, what is it? How big is it? That one in particular sold, I can look to see if there is another in the on site storage. If I recall it is 1.5" diameter. My boss is going to Brazil this thursday to get a few more pallet loads of material, so what is on hand currently is what is available. He may have brought some new stuff in but I won't know until Thursday. At some point I may actively put up local materials, but I need to do work as everything is in the rough for the most part.

Just so you know. I have sold far far far more rough than finished goods here. These folks are artists and rough stone is their canvas. Ignoring that is the same as taking a poll to see what people want, instead of posting pics and prices. Pics and prices sell material, rough or finished. Get to work.

Well I need to ether slab it or make 1 cut to see if the material is worth selling... some things are and some arent... I have lots of agate that may have color or may be just clear... hard to say unless I cut.
