Looks like a nice "flat top" would be great for burgers and dogs, the remove for after dinner firepit. Needs to be seasoned with heat and oil. Cooked oysters are yukky. Make mine raw with key lime juice, maybe a little horeradish and cucumber too. I eat the faces too.

Perfed metal makes a grill Weld on a ring and a hay hook lifts it off after grilling is over.

I would flip burgers, dogs and steaks on that top James.... I wonder if it would stir fry. Get it hot enough and it should. Like those Japanese hot tables.

Rocket fuel is what we called the juice they use. Had a teppan joint next door to my reptile store. They would fill a little dish with rocket fuel on party nights! In reality its cheap tequila. And yes, you new invention would work as teppan or "mongolian barbecue" too! Lol

I have a friend sells stainless sheet for commercial kitchen fabricators. He buys hundreds of tons a year. Only sells to the fab houses nobuody else. Ill see his price. I bet similar to cookware.

You brought up stainless. Woks are carbon steel and rust if not seasoned. I suppose I could season this carbon steel too ?

I thought they would not rust after being seasoned from cooking with oil. Can't see that holding true though. After sitting a while it must rust.
