Taking a break from a recently finished vibratory tumbler project. a tuff one. Thought I would tackle this heavy 54 inch fire pit without endangering my worker's back. Trying to figure out basic handling issues. So the ATV drawn trailer. 54 w/cover, 60 to left  54 on trailer being buffed and centers located for welding base  Scrap 54 and 60 way to thick for fire pit use. heavy beast. Have to take what they have.  |

Scrap 54 and 60 way to thick for fire pit use. heavy beast. Have to take what they have. 3/8ths thick? Kinda. Required by ASME for that pressure .313" nominal. Probably 3/8" at bottom and .320" where maximum draw is. Some come in 5/8 - 3/4 inch for high pressure. Those are customer pick ups. |

For some reason they make up over half the complaints. Picky picky #1 source of complaints per capita is Bellevue, Washington. That is an enigma, must be the water. Why that town buys so many I will never know. |

I look up the sum $itches on Zillow because I get their address upon receipt of order. The complainer's houses average over a million dollars. Yesterday, Fullerton CA, pit came in with a scuff and she wants it for free. Zillow says she is in a house - 1.3 million. I tricked her. Told her I would give her a full refund<then a delay>AFTER she returned it lol. We compromised, I still got raped. I get about 1 complaint per 50 fire pits. Not bad at all. CODB - cost of doing... |

In most cases they may be ordering with intentions of filing a claim. They have way worse scuffs and scratches from handling in production. Those bowls cost more than the fire pit when sold in AAA condition for industry. Deep scratches and invisible out-of-round defects is the reason I got them cheap. |

Was planning on pick up so we could visit anyway. 380 pound bowl, 80 pound base. Must be 460 pounds. Too heavy, had help moving it around. Only way. Y'all come on over anytime. Looking forward. Maybe we can get together at the Elk River after Christmas. |

What were they originally used for? Pressurised tank ends. He started a few years ago with "blem" and "out of spec" surplus. Now he is the mfg largest buyer (I'm speculating). |

Yep, you are correct. Me got into big trouble that day. Washes with difficulty yes. Wife and her RR breeding buddies/partners were having slumber party at the house that weekend and left me to babysit 7 pups 2 hours. They went for lunch. They got back and all 7 puppies were covered in white clay. Add the pup house. They were getting ready to do a photo session and then buyers were coming to pick up their pups. Frantically bathing pups and washing pup house down(I managed them lol) Long weekend for me, they made me pay. Pups smelled great ! |
