My belts have to be stretched a good bit to get on the pulleys. Pretty close to a 3 inch circle. May try next size up like 3.25 or 3.5 next time. Pretty sure it would prolong life and still do it's job. There are o-rings designed specifically for being drive belts. Certain they would last longer. Of course a bag of fifty will last longer than I.

I do about 200-400 lbs of tumbles per year to give away to the kids, I use the vikings for finish only and do the rough grind in a 100 lb rotary tumbler. Works good for me.

So only a few months of actual use. From what I read here and hear from my lurking buddy, the viking is best sold off or used infrequently. Seems like POS. Lurking buddy extends gratitude to all whom answered. So do I, reinforced my desire to build not buy....

Cup a sugar, cup a water, tbsp of AO 500 and come back 3 days and open. Does big rocks with lots of media. Not selling mine. Like it lots. Stinks on soft rocks except when dry tumbling. However, if adjusted slower it may do soft stuff. I would not be confident building a vibe that does not pit glass or obsidian. Just looking at the foundation of a Lot-O tells me some higher mechanical technology is lurking behind the scenes.

let me know if he wants to sell it! Thanks JR. He sells equipment occasionally, I'm sure he will get a good price if he does sell.

I hope by end of summer I can prove you wrong! I have a bunch of Davis Creek here. That is just to much belt changing for me.
