There is almost zero minority population here. Maybe they are smart enough to stay away when the white folks are acting all ghetto. You need to be hangin' some Confederate flags around your property to get the local street cred!

This area has an interesting history. A lot of squatters lived here. Somehow the govt. ran them off to Hog Valley 30 miles NW of here back 50 years ago. The forest behas always been intolerant of minorities. I was not aware when buying this property. Purpose was my plant business investment pleasure. Never seen any area in the south so minority free. It is a walk back in time. Across the lake heavy Latino west of Oklawaha River heavy Latino and black. Basically the whole Ocala Nat Forest. Lots of discussion on forum about minorities. Funny thing, a large percentage of people living here are family imigrated from the NE US. Somehow they have managed to keep their population free of minorities. Lots of Nam vets. Any way, an enigma.

captbobJust paid junior a visit. Veins in neck about to rupture. He won't forget me anytime soon. Drove ATV around back where he hides. Right up on his front porch. Yelled to get his f'N as outside. Got in his face and stomped and hit my hand with my fist hard enough it bruised it. Jumping around like a wild ape. Threats that should not be put in words. Etc etc. At least he knows I am not shy about confronting or showing up on his front door. He never denied a thing. Mouth hanging wide open. He is my man, don't take Joe Kinda to figure him out.

What brought you to the decision to pay a visit? Was Grandpa Red home? How old is this kid?

27 years old, 150 pounds soaking wet. He came on my property, I went on his. Kid needs to know that I will show up in his face. No, Red not home. No Red to protect him. Will he call the police, no. Will he tell Red, no. He is on his on. He will be approached by others when Red is not around. He is in society and at risk where ever he goes. He needs to be confronted and feel what his victims feel. My robbery is big news. My visit will be big news. His victims need to pay him a visit too. I hate a bully, but in this case size is not the issue. His crimes against me are the issue. I may approach Red and ask for what I am owed. I want Red to consider the monster he has stashed in the back apartment. He got junior a lawyer twice before, he can pay me what I am due. My real estate agent whom I have bought and sold 8 to 10 properties has not called me back about listing the property. She knows I am pissed and may calm down later. Me and her work well together and she knows me well from other issues like this one.

If I do not hear from Red I will pay him a visit too. He needs to know how angry I am. Red will not know I went there cause junior ain't gonna tell him. Yes, my risk factor will go up when I tell Red about my visit. There is a point where you have to do what you have to do. Unfortunately I am in one of these situations.

Be careful with weasels like him, James. I'm curious if you went back over there would you find a pair of soiled pants laying on the ground beside the front door. I hear you on letting some frustration and anger out, ain't nothing wrong with that, just be sure to check your six. Something tells me that if the heat gets high on this scumbag he'll disappear to somewhere, dropping through the cracks. I hope the lady LEO comes up with something that will give him room and board at the county/state expense before that happens. The perfect storm would be for him to get crossed up with one of his partners in crime...two (jail)birds with one stone. I know I keep urging caution, and will continue to do so. The scumbag's part of society is foreign to us, their thought process, understanding of consequences, etc.,. I mean really, an ex-con stealing air-conditioners...would any of us here trade 5-10 years of our life for a couple of window a/c units? No. We cannot comprehend this type of mentality, though we know enough to be disgusted and angered by it. I would put down a rabid dog without hesitation. The dog didn't get rabies by choice. A thief chooses to steal. Be aware. I would accept no palm fronds from these people as there would probably be a shiv hiding in there. The best outcome is what you are probably wishing for...that this creep goes off to an extended-stay hotel for a long, long time. Best wishes and be careful, Ed

For all he knows I am as dangerous as they get. I think he is a coward ass sneaky thief. NOT afraid to confront him. Sure, he can sneak over and put a cap in me. I say the highway has more chance of killing me than he does. Life goes on. Spent day with aunt an cousins an hour away. Did not lock the place up. Granted, it will be better for me and my peace of mind if he goes back to the Hilton.

James, sounds like you could use this door mat for your cabin... Ha. Me like peace Bill. There is no gain wasting energy on this matter. But, it presents a situation that could not be swept under the rug. Not in my eyes anyway. Eye for an eye sure sounds good. Making that happen is difficult this day and age. I sure try to be thorough in all challenges. This challenge forces you in a danger situation. Hard to know if adversary is laughing or scared to death. If 3 years in prison did not teach him to straighten out what will ?

Interesting study this National forest. 300,000 acres and a lot patches of private land sprinkled throughout incuding small towns. Almost a zero minority population. A target hangout for felons and squatters right from its inception. Minorities were dealt with ropes hanging from limbs way back when. Astigmatism of past still in air. Minorities not marching for their rights, believe me. Walk back in time this area. But it has a frontier attitude like w w west did toward Native man. I bought here because of the natural beauty, not the social arrangement. Not one property I have bought and sold down here did not have a squatter, children molester, felon, or criminal close by. It was all interesting till I had run in with some of them. All related to property issues. I have evicted two child molesters, been sued by a group of 3 squatters for right of way issues, robbed twice, near swindled on real estate contracts, been shown property that was said to be water front (2 out of 10 years during wet season).
Not sure the Federal land was such a good idea. In this case it created habitat for some bad folks.
Of course things are changing and the old ways are well on their way out. The area has become a safe place to live.

James, now that you gave him some rope........get those cams up and running. There is a better than good possibility he may retaliate thinking he will get the better of you after your confrontation. He is going to be careful for a short while, but when you are not around he will retaliate, guaranteed sooner or later.

You know the rest of the story James! Stay focused and collected.......A turd gets flushed and disappears forever!! Looking at the A/C's. My neighbor says he is tearing them down for metal. I did not think so, they are China made and aluminum. Worth very little scrap. He is selling them whole some where. Then I talked to the hardware store owner(Russ) whom got heloped a lot getting him prosecuted. He talked to a detective in the next county north. Russ followed him a couple of times aND Junion was going to next and larger town Palatka. Selling stuff to a second hand store. The Palatka detective figured it out and busted both the store and junior. Bet he is carrying his stuff to ocala-astor-or other southerly towns and selling stuff to 2nd hand stores. They do not print and photo you like scrap metal yards. He will not go to palatka/Putnam County again. Need to find out the scoop from that palatka detective. He may be banned in that county which would force him to head south or west. East is the coast where the rich kive, not many flea market like stores over there. He is a damp fool. This will be his 3Rd felon. Absolute minimum 15 years 100 percent time served in Florida. His Grandfather will be dead before he gets out and that is all he has. If I had my mac down here I could put a game camera at hwy 19 and hwy 40 intersection and download the mass of photos quick. Only way east south west is that intersection. You tell me which of those three directions and I will know where his outlet is. I got crack cousins west, and a very smart friend next town south. The crack cousins and Chris know every 2nd hand outlet. Just need to know which direction the little green truck turns. I would catch him in a month if I was here fulltime.

He is going to be careful for a short while, but when you are not around he will retaliate, guaranteed sooner or later. I don't think so. He has no idea how I knew it was him both this time and the last time. I simply told him if he comes back on my property I will have him prosecuted or I will---him. He knew I knew, he had to be perplexed. He may think I have him on film already. I made him think that way anyway by implication. Plus he passes two camera ed properties on his way over here. He just stole from me last week and I show up quickly from 400 miles away. No, he is sweating bullets. He is being tortured by my rapid ascent and absolute surety that he is my man. The only reason he did not deny ... instead acted totally apologetic, he figures I may have evidence and he best kiss my ass hoping I will give him a break. He knows, next time is mandatory 15. Gotta be freaking out.

Local pawn shop got junior on film at pawn shop pawning ammo. Direct breach of his parole. Not sure if anyone has guts to prosecute/admit evidence. Found his prosecuting detective. Next step is to contact him. And find out who his parole officer is. Parole officer bad news for junior if he is on film with ammo.
