and ... just for the record ... yes I'm aware I have a serious "finishing" problem haha. I'm addicted to the initial cut-shape-grind-dome-glue stages but I hate chasing scratches and the monotony of the polishing stages so WIP tends to pile up on me pretty fast.
I'm also aware that I could have taken the "shotgun" approach and filled up the board with holes as some of you suspected I did based on your guesses - but do you know how hard it is to drill all these holes by hand without a drill-press??? haha. Drill them twice actually - I draw out the grid then drill a small pilot hole before drilling the big hole.

Don't get me wrong - love wood way better than plastic. I've used the suspended lighting grates a couple times to keep tools in that size range organized and handy. Also a good surface to work on as small debris can fall through and not get in the way. Since your rack is already full, thought you might need to construct a quick overflow rack Nice rocks.

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you all, Mondays I go to my Dad's. Thank you everyone Pat, captbob. Poor Bill orrum, an also ran - again!I'm working on taking all of Tommy 's rocks away, one contest at a time, lol. Used that dang math again, once I knew what Tommy was after. There were only a finite number of choices, once it got pared down, I needed to stay on top of it, lest someone grab that winning number ahead of me. Thanks for the game again, Tommy. Just hang onto my address for awhile. Ha!

Thanks for the game again, Tommy. Just hang onto my address for awhile. Ha! Good job Jean - I had your address at my fingertips already so your package has already shipped out this morning I'll have to come up with a "random" no-math game like "guess how many spots I saw on a cow while walking this morning..." and give orrum a fighting chance

but seeing that picture I’m impressed by how many dopped cabs can fit on that birch board. Plus, that one serious amount of fine worked * stones
real surprised you didn’t use a drill press
that was going to be my next question ha!

Usually I have 4 legs. The real one and 3 artificial ones. One to swim and shower on the road with, at home I have a shower chair . One to ride horses, it has 15 degrees rotation in ether direction so the stirrup hangs naturally. Then the workhorse of a leg, it's on me all dsy and takes a beating!

Received my prize from Tommy today! Wow, how quick he is to part with his slabs, lol.
Here's a pic of the swag
I have realized your ulterior motive - you want me to break out my flat lap and get back to it! Yeah, I want to. This is excellent motivation.
Thanks again for the game and the prize, Tommy!
