Just as titled, nice cuts. This is slabs and saws correct ? So why did the saw not cut thru the rock all the way ? Ideas to solve this problem ?

This is slabs and saws correct ? So why did the saw not cut thru the rock all the way ? Ideas to solve this problem ? I was thinking the same thing when I first saw your pictures. Does not make sense. Did you have it in the vise as shown or sideways to as shown? On like a 20" saw right? Even if there were a left over nub on the slab as it fell off the main chunk of rock, the chunk still in the vise should have a flat cut face. Was the auto shut off place set too close to the front to allow the blade to do the full cut? curious cuts for sure

It was clamped on the right side for all 4 cuts. One clamping for all 4 cuts. Blade coming straight at you as viewed in photo(or more accurately the rock traveling away from you into blade as viewed in the photo. The slabs broke just before the blade exited the rock.
The nib on the clamped piece proves I need to tighten the carriage. Carriage aligned when being pushed into rock. As soon as blade pressure is released it shifts. Slacker, I need to fix it.
