Dave you'll like Lavic. Also with the huge storms this winter, probably lots of fresh stuff exposed. I'm tempted to join you . . . may pipe up at the last minute.

Susan, that is absolutely fine with me. If you decide to go, shoot me a PM with your contact info, and I'll do the same. Thanks!

That's kind of my reasoning about the Cady's. Last time we went after a storm the roads were horribly washed out, but the collecting was excellent. We were a little fortunate to get around some deep washouts on the pole line road (since repaired), but totally worth it. I'm not sure how the rain will effect Lavic. Certainly less steep hills but??? Gonna be fun any way you do it! Craig

Maybe see you next Saturday.

For me, it looks like it will be the show on Friday and hounding on Saturday. If that works for you in any respect, let me know. Dave

Did you go in on Basin Road? Other than some water just before you cross the tracks, the north roads almost seem to get better (firmer) with a little water

Basin was find and Baxter wash was very easy to drive yet very had to navigate. It's so green!!

Never have seen a boulder big enough for bigger. In fact, my hunk is the largest I have ever seen. Need to weigh it!

Hi all! Looks like I'll be in the area from Washington state to attend the show Friday and Saturday. Planning a bit of hounding out in the Cady's sunday or Monday. I'll have a bit of my Olympic Poppy Jasper with me too. Stop by and say HI!

I know we've talked about meetups and such, but I'll still be at a loss as to who is who. For me, I'll be the guy walking around on Friday with a splint on my left arm. If you see me, please say hello.
