What a joke. $15 for shipping? IDK if that's worth a grand or not, but for that price it should ship for free.

Yah, but theres a sucker born every minute. Not much rock for 1000 That might be the highest price I have seen for a one pound laker. It is killer and probably worth a couple hundred bucks. Chuck

Chuck Maybe because paints are harder to find he thinks it is worth that kind of money. Seems spendy to me but even at Moose Lake Agate days a person doesn't see many large paints. Last year a person had a LSA that was shades of beige that they wanted $800 for. Never seen one that color before. Sure was a nice looker!..................MrP

There are so many varieties I would mis-identify a bunch of them. I would never have guessed that was a laker if I had just come across it in a pile of slabs. Chuck

That's a cool looking agate , kinda like a turritilla cousin I don't think it is even close. It is agate of some sort and Turritilla I believe is limestone, and this one i don't think is any kind of shell

For what it is worth I would not have called mine in the OP a laker either if I didn't know what it was from you. Chuck

toiv0I am bad. I tumble stuff that should probably of been left raw. I should take closeups of each to see if you know which ones are more valuable. These are my "do not sell" rocks. Not sure if the dark amethyst one is rare but its my favorite. Chuck

The guy who has this one lives north of duluth and has a flat of them. I might have had one or two at some time but will need to see them up close, otherwise they are just an agate to me.

These are all pretty sweet, I likem all too. The fish scale one (above the amythest) catches my eye. But they are all worth keeping. ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh the one with the face.
