I cut the bottom support to fit 24.5 inch spring centers. The axle guy told me wrong, correct dimension was 29.5 inches.
So the surgery was time consuming to extend the bottom support. Messed things up but problem finally remedied.

May need added bracing for top shelf. Triple joint welds assist racking but braces more effective. Gussets may be best.

Must add tongue on left side. Load plus trailer about 3000 pounds. 10 to 12% tongue weight is target, 300 pounds. Perfect for average pick up truck.

Will add fenders.

Will figure some kind of easy to use strap down, toggle type. Maybe a small chain buck.

Fire pit is 36 inch model. 36 and 42 inch are best sellers. Then the 48 inch model, and they are heavy at 330 pounds w/pallet.
Can do 54 inch in front two cubicles.

Present sales are about 8 pits per week. A Monday and Tuesday's work welding including delivery to freight company. So trailer is about the right size.
Will park trailer about 20 feet from welding area and load as units are welded. Will pick up ~8 pallets and put on trailer every Monday morning. Pallet storage in adjacent barn.
Logistics and ergonomics paramount. Work flow must equal greased lightning. Every inch of movement accounted for. Clock in full view. Hand movements counted and analyzed.
Threats of back/bodily injury carefully researched and appropriate defensive measures taken. Tooling and power connections optimally located.

I can sell the land. I live on a 12 acre lot and business is on 17 acre lot. I initially bought 43 acres and sold 13 acres off. It almost paid off the remaining 12 and 17 acres in the back.
The shop requirements is only 20' X 20', plus an acre for storage. Probably not sell the 17 acres Dave. Taxes are only $600/year.

The movie industry freaked me out. I had signed an exclusive location lease with the giant Pinewood Studios.
It has since expired. The very day Crazy Legs Productions shot on my property I got this email from Pinewood:

Have you had a chance to decide if you would like to renew with Pinewood On Location? And do you have any questions I can answer?

I was told that the film industry hires people to monitor social media to keep abreast of what is going on.
Now I have a decision to make. Sign with them but ask for non-exclusive listing. I think they will reject the offer.

James, you have such a beautiful property. I don't think I mentioned that before. The first picture in the post above- is that your home? It's huge ... and awesome! Was it an old train station or something? Very unique. Love the roof.

Well Tela, that is not my home. It is an in-law suite-studio-barn-office combobulation. The home is the little grey cabin to the right.
The brick thing was built out of junk steel. That is 50 year old tired jamesp up top. He welded the thing up 10 years ago. Never again lol.

Are the roof trusses welded too?
If so, how did you attach the roof?

Yep, everything in photo is welded.
Trusses too, they are 21 foot - 3 inch angle iron at about 90 pounds each. The I beams are 6" X 3" wide.
So dummy has to 'walk the 3" beam' with those long angle irons. Would require 6 months in the gym before doing that again, maybe. arthritis
Worst is clamping them in place to weld.

Then welded purlins across the trusses every 2 foot center. They were 'U' shaped. Then screwed the roofing to them.
Screwed roof on in weekend w/2 youngsters(cept edges where it needs trimming). They we're to bring it up to me. Me screw man. Love metal roofing. Fun to install.

That thing was too fun to build. 90% by myself. Got no permit.
