I'm actually just playfully giving rockjunquie a hard time. It was an awesome and unusual contest and I wish I could have participate better. I answered her poll with "all of the above" meaning that any time would work for me so I have nobody to tease but myself. When I roll out of bed at 6:30 ish I have to jump straight into making momma's breakfast and getting her squared away with medicine and all. I underestimated my ability to mult-task with the contest  |

Y'all get two guesses again tomorrow and then it's a free for all on Sat. 2 people came REALLY close!!!! One within one number. One more hint- One box has 4 more bags than the other. If one bag had 4 more than the other then both bag sums were either an odd or even number. The sum of two odds or even numbers is always an even number. That's what I get for mathing, congrats to winners. I did the same math to begin with. But then I remember that Tela said she put multiples in several bags. So back to the original pictures to try to get an idea of how many multiples in how many bags. Knew that anything I could see would only be a large fraction of what was actually bagged, so I padded my numbers of multiples. Got lucky, cuz she had more multiples than I had counted on, because her total was more than I based my guess on. |

Chuck, you were off one number off yesterday.  It was a very calculated guess that involved printing your photo and counting every piece with a sharpie marker. Chuck I did the same thing!!! |

You do so much here and I do very little, except for ask for advice and compliment others. I also appreciate you being a caregiver for your Mom, as my lifelong career, since age 17 is assisting those with employment, quality of life, or ability to care for themselves totally. 38 years and counting on that one. My late fiance became a total care Veteran and I was there for him, plus working up to 60 hours/week. Know what it's like. So there. Will not take no for an answer. Also, even if you will not share your addy, I know some here will.  |

The reason for the two numbers I picked was Tela's clue that two people were really close, one person missed it by only one. So I went with Chuck's 120 and added one, and Kurt's 128 and subtracted one (between the two, ya following me?). So 121 and 127. Should have subtracted one from Chuck's number, DOH! BTW,I never tried to count the booty, honestly, didn't even look much at the preforms! I know Tela has exquisite tastes, wouldn't be any duds in there!
Then, before I put down my tablet and start my day, I see Frank's contest. Take a stab at it - WINNER!
So I can't complain, great way to start the day!

Are you doing silver work? That'll make a nice pendant.

I took a beginners silver class several years ago at William Holland. I'm slowly setting up a bonus room for jewelry making. Its about 90% unpacked and 10% organized. I wanted to have an exhaust option for the torch. I cobbled together a few ideas I've seen online and think I have a decent system set up. It vents into the wall in the bonus room that goes into an unused attic space. I know that's not as ideal as directly venting outside. Hopefully all of that insulation will ask as additional filters. So, yes, I want to set this one in silver. Ideally, even a handmade chain with some accent stone beads. To date everything I've made since the class I've gifted. This one will be for me! |
