I wonder who first had the idea of frying Bananas?!?!? Well, Plantains are basically just a firm, starchy Banana, right? Go for some Bananas Foster next time and make enough for the boss

I love Cuban food. Most Walmarts in the west sell Platanos. We make Tostones & Maduros in our home. Along with Congri (Morros y Cristianos) & Yucca. Lynn

I make a bananas foster topping and put it over Nutella rolls....
Plátanos wouldn't make great foster imho, but I may try just to see if I'm wrong

Arlen, maybe the same person that thought it would be cool to fry icecream or Twinkies? lol. Lot of foods cooked in different ways at the fair each year. Notably, most are fried. Yuk. To each his own, guess the only way to know if it's any good is to try it!
ETA - Thought of another "who would fry this food" story. A couple years ago, when I was donating blood, I was talking with the tech about my garden, growing squash, etc. She was Hispanic, and told he how her family would take fresh squash blossoms, fry them in butter, and wrap them in a tortilla. I never tried it, but I imagine it is good.

Didn't know, so Googled it. Should have known, would have known, if I was into Game of Thrones. Scott is going all medieval on us, hey.
I was thinking it had something to do with "bending the knees" and lifting with them instead of your back. Good advice there. How many people have screwed their backs up that way?
Won't ever get into kings, queens, monarchies, etc. Always hated that old crap, lol. (Yes, all said tongue in cheek!)

Ya gotta figure that ain't happening, after hearing about custody battles over rocks.
I've heard of bending elbows before, something I'm sure he is quite familiar with, and does on a regular basis! I mean, just look at his avatar, lol.

But did SHE? We all pretty much know that what the guy half of a relationship has to say does not matter.

Squash blossoms are REALLY good if you bread them and then fry them, also, Tiger lily blossoms. We get the Lilly blooms in the ditches along the Mississippi river tributaries .

Maybe it should have been "bend the knee, bitches" Ya mean like a curtsey? Or maybe "bow before you" or "kiss your feet?" Submit to you?
How about just bend over, lol.
Don't (personally) care for your use of the word "bitches."
Wow.
ETA - yeah, I don't care much for that at all.
This isn't the dark ages... Wow.
