How about Tanzanite (gee, wonder where that name came from?), Tsavorite garnet, Songea ruby, sapphires from the Umba River Valley, Winza and Tunduru; fine red Mahenge spinel, other rare and beautiful garnet types like Umbalite, etc.; and many other fine gems.
