Great lookin' pieces, John! I don't know, but they look alot like some of the picture rock I got at our local rock shop awhile back.

It looks like picture jasper to me, and the nice blue sky is very prominent in the Owyhee Jasper of Oregon.

thanks john and BE now that you said it it does look like the blue in Owyhee Jasper,, i realy like this stuff cool color i put a better pic of it up i dont know what happend to the other one seeya-s ---john
kim i know i bought these rocks but i dont remember them hahaha every once and awile i pic a bucket and go through it see what i got i take to many back pills thats whats up hahaha

BE i like it im not to good yet but ill get the hang of it,, i didnt do so hot on that one but ill practice hahaha ,, ya hafta go over each piece 3 more grits and a polish but if ya doit right they come out nice i might do that one over see if i can get it better i realy like the ladys face init im gonna give it to my daughter if it turns out better

Hey John. It's really important that you get ALL the scratches from the previous grit removed before moving on. I learned the hardway, so just thought I'd save you some time and frustration. Lookin' mighty fine though.

i just played with a piece of spiderman jasper and my opinion is its way easeyer to polish by hand ,, when i do more im gonna stop after prepolish and try this again

You said trying to get the spiderman jasper to polish was tuff, now you have the aswer. But you have to do them one at a time. What am I saying, More fun ;D
