Can't imagine glass stopping a diamond bit on any regular basis. Let's chalk it up as a fluke. About to drill some holes. Let's see if it happens again I Am Sure this is not Your Case but from experience My bit stopped an for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why AND THEN... figured out my “STOP” on my Dremel workstation was set to high 😂😂😂

Nate's stuff fresh out, yum Yum is right! Look at all that candy! I actually screwed this glass up. The whole 10 inch globe. It comes out of a ball, intention was to a low temp "lay it flat" heat treatment with out altering the colors. To remove the curve from the shards. Instead it did a full fusion on the glass blower's 'mysterious formula' glass and melted some of the colors together making them darker and introducing browns. His glass must react at lower temps. But it also did a dead wet shine flame polish and made turn key pendants with out tumbling, hmmm. Perfect pendants w/little effort, but a color change I did not intend. You are supposed to do test melts on small quantities instead of hale mary on the whole lot of 100 pieces. My bad. I just completed the preliminary Etsy requirements for a glass gem shop - gemglassart is the name. It is open now but needs complete build. Maybe will get some listed this week coming up.
