Busy Sun/Mon in the glass dungeon. Kilns and vase purchases exceed cab grinding and tumbling rates.
The 3 tumbling areas keeps me hopping with 1 or 2 day steps and 4 steps total.

now to load shaped cabs in rotary, clean out and reload Lot-O, uh Vibrasonic tomorrow, and load fresh shaped cabs in small rotary for coarse grind.
Will be an 8 hour glass day. Yesterdays vase purchases will take another two 8 hour days to melt and prep for tumbler.
Should be into about shaped 500 cabs going into tumble process by Wed morn. Most are thick and take more time.
I get confused on the status of all these machines and stages. starting to slow down, like the rest of the week.
Learning a ton. Developing cabbing skills. Bettering tumbling processes.

No. That one was stuck in a cranny at the glass thrift shop.
It may have not been seen for 7 months when it was logged in.
The thrift shop discounts their pieces every mont and it had an 8 month old tag.
So they had discounted it from $60 down to $12. $60 is the highest price I ever found in that shop.
It really is not desirable for jewelry because I just noticed today the pearl is an inside top coat which the tumbler will destroy.

No joke, is it possibly some kind of uranium glass ?
I don't have one at home but I will take it to the high dollar glass shop next to one of the thrift store where they have backlights to display their uranium glass.
That high end store has a fine assortment of super fine glass.

Next trip I will take it in one of the stores with blacklight displays.

The 'long store' as I call it, long and narrow and must have 3000 dust collectors at anytime is the best store. Cheap cheap cheap

Been getting picky and leaving vases behind, they have to score well on jewelry color/patterns.

Watched a 'wire wrapped bail' youtube tutorial this morning. Looks to be about a 3 minute wrap.
It requires a hole drilled, but fat fingers can probably get er done. Like it ?

Real basic MsAli. Proves it was hand wrapped too. Plus you can use real gold/silver and say 925 in your ad.
Aan probably rig a fly tying rig to assist ergonomic wrapping. Oh yea, only real fishers know what fly tying is.
