MsAli hummingbirdstones I have heard that near perfect ruby and near perfect emerald are far more valuable than diamond. I know @gemfellar could probably answer that question. The best stone for a lady is the one that makes that particular lady content lol. The perfect stone can give a man a lot more contentment than the stone gives her. Only us mins can answer that one. There are a lot of gemstones that are more valuable than diamond. Russian alexandrite and emeralds are a couple. Certain color sapphires and of course, gem quality opal. There's more but I haven't had enough coffee yet to think of them. One of those Tanganyika gems is supposed to be off the chart rare. My opal dealer friend said some opals are crazy valuable.

My first mold blow out. Glass was stacked on edge in mold. You can see the out flow. It flowed on to my wife's melts he he. That is some ugly man glass ? Seems that way because I post this mix on the glass forum and the men comment and get excited, much less lady comments. Post feminine colored projects and the ladies comment. Sometimes what people do not say has more relevant meaning than when they do comment. Gonna get the other brick out shortly. The glass shards were laid in flat to make banded agate. blow out Sawn blowout. Thin slabs because dam broke. Right two slabs sawn with shards, others across showing out flow Another pattern for the knappers "camo". GOT to have camo for the boys

Those colors are great!
Rich man? Hhmmm see that's the thing, not impressed by money alone. If I was, I would be with someone already and driving nice cars and having those diamonds, vacation anywhere I want. But he was a douche and short, not a good combo.

Blowouts suck. You are an instigator laughing about it getting on your wife's melts.
I like them cut across the shards better than with them. More interesting patterns. Also like the camo pattern. The knappers will go nutty for that for sure. Like those aqua cabs in the background, too!

Never a good combo. I've known some of those guys in my life.

I am pumped about the colors of this new glass MsAli hummingbirdstones fernwoodWouldn't trade it for that fancy Bullseye or Spectrum. Totally different than what is out on the market. I say it is an edge on competition. It's the opaque factor. Hey, tall dudes can be douches(lol that adjective)too. Money bags is often more a douche than blue collar. Grew up on the poor side of the rich neighborhood and not tolerant of silver spoons in mouth bunch. Me and my neighbor buddy had special treatment for rich bullies, or we did our best. This may surprise. 'The power of bubbles'. These slabs are from a mold. A most simple cast. Mixed colors of 1" to 2" shards laid flat on top of each other. Trapping bubbles. As the bubbles rose they efficiently pull colors from down below. Or as they rise they move laterally across a less melted harder shard till they get to the top. Effective color movers. Same done when blowing glass. "Psycho"

Preforms, both sides. Gimme some glass that does not color mix and I can kick it' ass. Some of my best manipulations using this import. The glass I had been working with for the first 6 months is difficult.
