Flame experiments looking good. Arrived at the latest conversation a little late. I was thinking/wondering.... Why not include some slender triangular pieces. Cut some of the larger rectangular pieces to shape. Then match different colors up to form the rectangular shape in the mold. Or would this just mess everything up?

The more I melt the more I guess Beth. Glass just does not do what you ask t to do. Yes, you may have the key to the flame thing. I wish it did not take 3 days to get results each time. It is slow going.

Gender Fluid is a gender identity best described as a dynamic mix of boy and girl. A person who is Gender Fluid may always feel like a mix of the two traditional genders, but may feel more boy some days, and more girl other days.
Oh, a switch hitter he he

That describes me perfectly. Am able to be one of the boys at times, but very much a girl at others. I feel that certain traditional male traits and skills come into play as well. Being able to do mechanical things, not afraid to get my hands dirty, engineering skills, etc. But, I also love to dress up, wear jewelry and be very much the girl at others. It is all about what is needed or wanted at the time.

That looks great. Reminds me of a volcanic eruption. Looks as if the burgundy glass is heavier than the yellow/orange since it floated the yellow/orange to the top. That burgundy glass sends everything into a mix every time. As if it has forces within.

I'm not sure whether to name this "Quintuplet Alein FLAMEingo Orgy" of "Flaming Lady Hens". What do you think MsAli lol ? You know I take great pride in being a perv Alison... That's the burgundy glass, yes? I think it works really well with the yellow/orange. Turned out really nice!
The point done in "our" colors is purty!

It looks as if the burgundy shuffled the flame colors too much. Had black glass been used for the matrix only strips would have formed. That teal/pink might be my favorite. Both color and pattern came out well.

There were 2 layers of burgundy on top. For some reason my instinct told me to put them there lol. Perhaps you can see them under the glasses hummingbirdstones. It looks as if the yellow and orange is simply lighter in weight and floats up from the bottom ? If different weights(densities) exist, it could be useful for exploding more designs from the bottom of a deep brick. If density variations exist, imagine if the orange/yellow was laid down in the floor of the mold and it had further to reach the top possibly further increasing mixing. This is the stuff that makes melting glass darn interesting. I have an accurate scale at the glass storage. I will weigh 30" x 32" sheets of burgundy and yellow, orange. Not real accurate though because they vary in thickness. But I could mike them for accurate thickness and make a decent comparison. Those big plates, I would swear some are way heavier than others. Before melting:
