OK, now that I've read the threads, I get it. "A lovely piece of Willow Creek Jasper. Free formed, hand polished. One of a kind creation. Mirror finish. Ready for drilling, bell cap, your choice. Will drill for you at no (small?) charge. Chains avalible." "Brilliant, colorful Bud Stone. Unlike anything you have seen before. Soft, satin finish. Ready for drilling...(see above) Huh, huh?

sands what words do you want people searching to be able to find them under? you want to use every word that you want it to come up under in your title or in the description. i've had to go in and edit and re-edit some of my auctions because i can't even find them - like if i was selling a costume i needed to use the word "costumes" somehow in the description because that's what most people would be looking under. I went by cookies and added to it.
Willow Creek Jasper Free-Form Cabachon
This lovely piece of Willow Creek Jasper is (size) and ready for you to use for wire wrapping, drilling or adding a bell cap to create a pendant. Free formed cabachons are unique, one of a kind creations. This cab has been shaped and polished to a mirror finish from my collection of rocks, stones, and minerals. Cabs make a beautiful addition to bead necklaces for those of you looking to give that special touch to your beads or other types of jewelry. Please see my other auctions for pendants for more choices in shapes, sizes, or other stone options.
any one looking under cab, cabs, cabachon, cabachons, wire wrapping, drilling, bell cap, willow creek jasper, jasper, pendant, pendants, bead, beads, necklaces, jewelry, rocks, stones, stone, or minerals would find your cab. this gives you a wide range. you might have some other words you want it to come up under. these were just some that came to my mind.

John, I would also list it under collectibles along with all the categories Kim listed.
You might also add that if the buyer would like it drilled, you will drill it for them. Lots of people might want it for a pendant, but won't have a way to drill it, or know how to wire wrap. And some people that do have a drill and stuff to wirewrap with might still want you to drill it - some people like ME! LOL!

also for your shipping rates, either have a predetermined cost or supply a shipping calculator link. i dont know how to do this though because i have never sold. But i know i like it when i can find out the shipping before i bid so i know the final cost. do you have paypal sandman? if not it might be a good idea to set up an account. people like easy transactions.. .. just my thoughts....

Hey Sands, lovely cabs , I am impressed. I wander if you could promote the shine better by changing the background . The white appears to be dominant. I took some shots yesterday in bright sunlight and my shiny tumbled rocks were lying on bleached wood. It seems to overpower the rocks. My wife Jeannine commented that they did not look shiny at all in the foto.
Good luck
Jack

Hey John, Beautiful stones! Cookie and Kim beat me to the punch. I can't improve on their great descriptions!
Just a suggestion......to begin with, I wouldn't offer too many choices. Or maybe not any choices. If someone won the bid on one of your cabs and wanted you to drill it, they may decide they are unhappy with the hole or something. That could leave you having to get it back and make a refund to the buyer. I think starting out, I would show the pic and that would be exactly what the buyer would receive. After you've sold a few, you would be able to determine if you would be better off offering options.
I totally agree with JK about providing shipping costs in the listing. I always hate having to email the seller to find out what the shipping will be, and I won't bid on anything unless I know what the shipping will be.
Let us know when you have something listed. I can't wait to see how you do with them!
Good Luck! BE
