Even weirder. All the tracking numbers from last week say the same thing, even those that have been delivered. Sounds like someone didn't scan them at the PO. I talked to my mail lady today and that is same thing she thinks happened. Possibly someone in training. Les

Speaking of... Les, your original box found its way back to me today. Although, I use the term "box" loosely at this point. It looks like it may have been dropped at an artillery range. There are shreds of cardboard held together with a heroic amount of USPS-logo tape, and then over-wrapped with shrink wrap. Moving forward, I'll either have to invest in that infernal packing tape with the cross-hatched threads in it, or stabilize the boxes with Paleobond.

Stephan, glad to hear you got box back without the insurance hassle.

Me too. Down to one MIA box. I hope it arrives in better condition than this one.

Me too. Down to one MIA box. I hope it arrives in better condition than this one. Small FRB generally don't have the "inferior to the stones" issue. So perhaps it's not mine. My little box should show tomorrow, otherwise we will sort out the tracking info and track the MIA. My real reason for posting though: I use two FRB (medium or large) when shipping full rock boxes. The internal box is "surgically" altered so that it fits tight and the outerbox seals well. I remove some side flaps. Also, I seal the top first and the bottom after it's full. Hope that helps

Food for thought. Gotta wonder, though... what happen to those boxes if someone actually fills them to the 70 pound limit. The large boxes I shipped were generally in the 30-something pound range.
Hope it arrives tomorrow. And I hope these tracking numbers were actually entered, unlike what I shipped Saturday. Different PO, so hopefully.

Edited! Box arrived, selection looks like fun. I appreciate the identifying some of them, I have no clue what I'm looking at, most of the time.
