Tomorrow, Sept 16, 2020 is Collect Rocks Day!
On September 16 take a walk to the park, the beach, or to the jewelers, and collect some pretty looking rocks. Why, you ask? Because it is Collect Rocks Day. Yay!

There are many things pronounced differently in East TN. Like that Jewish holiday Yom Kippur which is celebrated Sept 28th this year. If I were to learn about that here I would assume they meant: Yom -- this the sound you make when something tastes good. Kippur -- Kippers, an iconic British breakfast dish consisting of herring that has been cured via kippering—split open, cleaned, salted, and smoked—and then usually grilled, broiled, or sautéed.
So in east TN, Yom Kippur would be a celebration of yummy herring

28 September: Happy National Drink Beer day.
Keep it within reason, though. We don't want you having to also celebrate Recovery Day (two days from now).

Don't forget about International World Heart Day! Not heart like Valentine's Day, and mohs rocking hearts.
No, World Heart Day is a day which is held on September 29th every year and is used to draw attention to heart disease and the problems it can cause. This day promotes various preventative measures and lifestyle changes a person can make which can help them avoid heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular diseases. It is estimated that heart disease kills over 17 million people a year – more people than is killed by malaria, cancer, and HIV.
