My 7" saw can cut up to 2.6” then I can flip. I'm thinking abt 4.5 inches would be good.
How much for 5 lbs shipped to 23462?

I live on Vancouver Island and have lots of extra dallasite and flowerstone available! If anybody wants any just let me know! I'm more than willing to ship it for free(you must pay the shipping obviously!) But because I don't think I'm allowed to sell, as I don't have enough posts! I am happy to give it away! I have beaches and beaches full of this stuff! Just let me know! PM You are correct, you are not allowed to sell because you do not have enough posts. Also, padding your post count in this manner to get there quicker (you are not the first to try it, big surprise) is frowned upon. The mods will delete them, pushing your number of meaningful posts back to where it belongs.

No splitting posts up? I apologize! I will type it all in one box from now on! Thanks! Am I allowed to give rocks away? I have waay too many and my partner wants most of them gone Please take to heart what you were told last May when you first joined. You were told the rules, and the reason that they are in place. Hey everyone! I have always been into interesting looking rocks, but only recently have I started to actually bring the rocks home and such! Now I am trying to identify and search for old (new to me;) and interesting rocks! I am Canadian and live on Vancouver Island! I have yet to find any rhodonite.. however I have lots and lots of flower stone and Dallasite!! So if anyone ever wants to trade for something cool they have, I'd be more then willing to ship anywhere! Thanks for reading Welcome from California and thanks for posting. "trading" is currently lumped into the "no selling till 100 posts" rule ... but ... (and it's a big butt...), the purpose of the rule is to protect forum members from scammers and profiteers who come into forums like this just to make a quick buck. Trading is less problematic because an established member can simply set their own rules of engagement so that they receive promised material before releasing their own material - at least until a trust is established. Anyway, I personally am a big fan of Dallasite material (and flower stone to a lesser degree) having gotten some from the member behind the link Chuck posted above. I would love to see you stick around and maybe post some pictures showing off your rocks or whatnot just so we can get to know you. I know for a fact there is a market for Dallasite here because I'm highly interested in getting more but as I said already, we'd love to see you jump in and making community posts. Tommy It seems you are not really interested in becoming an contributing member, but instead are only looking for a free place to sell. You have to earn that priviledge.

swaver101 I just deleted a few of your posts. You can't just move into someone's sales thread and attempt to undermine their sales. You are not making any friends or cultivating any potential customers that way. Yes, we have rules here. As Tommy and rockpickerforever have clued you in on. Refrain from from post padding to get your number up or you will be banned. This is your warning.

I apologize! I have zero intentions of selling any rock I find by truck loads on the beaches! I only came here tonight to ask some questions about two cabochon makers I'm trying to decide between buying.
And I seen the recent post about Vancouver Island and clicked it because I live here! I really am sorry! I honestly had no ill intent! I wasn't trying to upset or upsell anyone and I apologize if I did! Those of us living in certain parts of Vancouver Island have more dallasite and flowerstone than we could cut, cab, tumble or shake a fist at! Was only trying to be nice! But again, my apologies. Won't happen again.

beefjello , thanks for the pic, hope you can get some good stuff out of that! Always love to see pics if anyone puts up any of what they do with the rocks. All of the boxes are in the mail/arrived, except Rockindad 's, which will go out soon. We put together two more boxes before leaving. If anyone wants them, my beautiful mother is tasked with taking them to the post office, and I will tip her. Shipping for 20 pounds of rock from here is generally 50-70 bucks Canadian or so, which is unfortunate. Prices below include shipping. 1. 20 pounds bigger tumbling or cutting, 2.5 inches to 5.5 inches in size. $165 CAD. 2. 20 pounds cutting or bigger tumbling but less rounded ones so some might not be great for tumbling, 2-5.5 inches in size. $165 CAD. We tried to keep it to pieces that are mostly dallasite without too much quartz/basalt, but sections of that stuff is unavoidable on most rocks. There is a lot of colour variation. Some rocks have pits and holes. We tried to keep in mind potential to still get something out of cutting or tumbling but it's a little hard because neither of us have cut a rock, and I only have meagre experience tumbling. Sometimes one part of a rock is so good, it gets hard to say no, and then you start going down a very confusing rabbit hole. I wish there was some sort of machine you could dump rocks into that would sort them by size and quality.

I was hoping our box would have gotten here today, but it didn't. Hopefully tomorrow! Canada Post's tracking ends once it gets released from customs in the US, which happened on the 24th. Expected delivery is the 30th, but not sure how reliable that is. I was amazed people received boxes on Saturday. That doesn't happen here.

I thought it odd that beefjello received his and you haven’t though you are both in Arizona. But rockjunquie in West Virginia has, and I hadn’t!! Until about an hour ago. I think California is closer to BC than the east coast!! Hang in there!
