This creek originates a rather close distance upstream. No idea where so much water came.
There must be some big ground springs suggesting cold and clean water loaded with tons of dissolved oxygen by it's many falls.

I walked over the bold creek feeding it marked 'spring' on this map. Gotta go see this whopper ground spring.
Falls marked. My lot is to right of the church. Falls maybe a 1/4 mile thru woods.
Many ground springs in this area including one on my lot supplying fine drinking water.



Many more falls on Canada Creek along the north side of Abe Mountain. Maybe 25 small creeks and springs in the various draws not shown on this map.

A family I met 12 miles(45 minutes by mountain roads) to the west were known carpetbaggers Henry.
This family has been aggressive wheeler dealers to this day as they own lots of businesses around Blue Ridge Georgia. Respectable but tough businessman.
Another family(xxxx) I met close to them are bitter enemies with them to this day because of north vs south type violence inflicted many generations back go figure.
You'd think both devote Christians watching them at Baptist church but not the case away from church lol.

The Long's lived on a mountain next to the Stanley's. Long Mountain/Stanley Mountain as marked on maps to this day !
The Stanley's and the Long's married into each other starting generations ago.
Long's originated from the north, Stanley's the south. The Stanley's were criticized by some of the southern families for commingling with the Long's lol.
Apparently the Long's had hung 2 members of the xxxx family about 5 generations back.
My friend's father had bought lands from the Long's years ago. Recently he hired a farm hand from family xxxx.
The xxxx farm hand often has dinner with us when I visit my friend's cabin. Lol, you should here him talk crap about the Long's.
We just shut up and listen to him in amazement. Guessing my friend's Dad hired him not just for help but to hear the full history.

My home suffers being in the "Last Mile". Those being serviced at the end of an internet finger. Common in rural areas.

We find Relics on benches next to the Creeks and higher ground close by up on the Mississippi River in Wisconsin, it looked like you were working a point near the Creek !
