Mike what a nice avatar photo you’ve got there... Why, thank you, Evan! It was from the one of two hunting trips she went on with me. Now she doesn't even want to see my rocks.

What a good memory, too bad though, hopefully she will see the light again soon!

They go through phases Mike From personal experience even though she seems bored or indifferent of it the fact that her dad took her hunting and loves rocks makes it special and is something she will always remember and cherish. What you probably aren't seeing is every time she see's one of her friends wearing a rock pendant she's either thinking or saying that her dad can do that.

The pressure I spoke of is self inflicted. This was yesterday morning....ready to go. This was last night when I was polishing the back, wet hands...un-dopped...bounced off the carpet and hit a piece of rough on the floor. Ugh, there is no crying in lapidary....another has been completed to send. Uggg... I clicked 'like' on the post but I don't like it - and yes it's perfectly acceptable to cry in lapidary (and fishing) it will always be the one that got away.

Here's the sweet cab I got from rads. Sheep Creek Plume Agate, super shiny and hard to do it justice with a picture. Thanks, Steven- very, very nice!

Thank you for letting me play along. Just FYI, it was cut as a pendant and is upside down in the picture.

Ok, I finished the cab and decided what to put in the box. I took out Ocean Jasper, St. Johns Flower Agate, Rainforest Jasper and the slab that I made the cab out of- which I'd like to remain a surprise for rxscram. I put in slabs of Opal in Agate, Lapis Lazuli, Thunderegg (I think), and a little Teepee Canyon slab. I hope to get the box out in the morning. Here's the pics:

Hey there miket, we hope you have fun with the St. John's. SRP has had the area that came from closed off for a few years now.
We hope you'll post a pic of whatever you do with that one.
