The vendor I have been getting my 1/2 in magnets from is AWOL. Everything I look at is confusing on line. Not sure how thick they were and believe 12 mm round. Where is everybody ordering theirs from.
Thanks in advance Billy

toiv0I've used kjmagnetics in the past with good results. I found them while researching gemstone magnetic properties as an aid for gemstone identification Magnetism in Gemstones - a very interesting website. Peace, James

My circuit panel box is right near my work bench so magnets usually end up hanging out there for awhile. Chuck

i had been thinking about what i might do with my polished rocks. I don't like the idea of just sticking them in a jar since you would not be able to see all of them. Magnets may be the solution especially for the bigger, lumpier ones. do you counter sink the magnets or just stick'em? with hot snot or binary epoxy?

I’ve used unitary cyanoacrylate and it worked quite well.

Half my magnet order came in today, received the 1/8 X 1/2 in. size. They are nasty strong for their size so I placed one on each side of my shower curtain to hold it against the tub. Tried to pull curtain loose and the damn things are so strong they pulled straight thru the curtain ! I am going to be hard pressed to find an adhesive that will hold them securely to a Cab, I think it might be a case of use once and your done, they may never be removable once you stick them on the Fridge ! I think the thinner models will be better for cab attachment , the thick models would be great glued to your shop wall to hold your Lapidary tools in an orderly fashion ! I would bet the bigger magnets would hold a 2 lb. rock hammer in place, no problem !
