This video, he is putting two 6x2 neo mags together. Get this. They had plastic tree wedges between the magnets, and the two magnets ripped the end off the wedges. Haha

Half my magnet order came in today, received the 1/8 X 1/2 in. size. They are nasty strong for their size so I placed one on each side of my shower curtain to hold it against the tub. Tried to pull curtain loose and the damn things are so strong they pulled straight thru the curtain ! I am going to be hard pressed to find an adhesive that will hold them securely to a Cab, I think it might be a case of use once and your done, they may never be removable once you stick them on the Fridge ! I think the thinner models will be better for cab attachment , the thick models would be great glued to your shop wall to hold your Lapidary tools in an orderly fashion ! I would bet the bigger magnets would hold a 2 lb. rock hammer in place, no problem ! Yeah I would think 1/8" thick would be pretty darn strong. I have always used 1/16 x 1/2 and I consider those to be working magnets. They hold 8 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper easily to the fridge. I have a heavy 3/16" steel plate display stand that I display them on at shows and customers have to hold onto the display to pull off a magnet. Black craft magnets do not compare. Those barely hold the rock to the fridge. I use 2 part epoxy to attach the magnets and have never had a failure.

The thin magnets I ordered haven't come in yet but those are the ones I plan on using on my cabs. Thought I would try two ton waterproof Epoxy on one to test holding power and use the larger magnets in my boat to corral my loose hooks and lures as I have been hanging them on the carpet next to my seat !

Got one order in for 15mm x 3 mm. Which is about 5/8 x 3/32. A little over half and a touch under an eighth. These are for some rough pieces of Amythest up to 3 inches. Mighty strong. I also ordered some 1/2 x 1/16 haven't came in yet.

My little cousin was playing with some small neo magnets a few years ago. Had stuffed one in his mouth and put another outside his cheek. Needless to say the magnets found each other. His eyes got REAL big as he tried to pry them apart without ripping his cheek. I think a lesson was learned he declined to play round 2 lol.

tell the tale about my magnetic idea I came up with once I wanted to make rock’n bags to keep hearts and stones in. Just something durable, like sash bag, Something that could be thrown in a drawer, and the rocks would be secure Plus I wanted my motto imprinted on the bag A client of mine got real interested in my rock hobby I told her about my bag idea Well she was seamstress and volunteered to make those bags. In her design she was going to use a drawstring to close the bag. Well.... I like to keep thing simple and that idea complicates the making of the bag to an extent. Not for her but nonetheless She was volunteering and putting up the material. So I came up with neo magnet idea. Just 4 of those sown into the top. It was easy for her and worked out so well. Closes with a snap ! Plus, look how she did my motto. Geez embroidering queen!! She made me about 40 of those bags. I’ve gifted them all away. I still have one or two RTH bags-- but the motto are all out there in the world drawers,,,,mostly

knaveNeos are really dangerous for kids. If you swallow a couple of them, they find each other in your intestines.

I like the amputee warning. I tell people they are crazy dangerous. Could really do some fishing with that big one

I asked Hank where he purchased his MAGGOTS and he directed me that there was a thread on the forum so I did a search and wound up here. I wend on Flee Bay and studied for an HR and purchased MAGGOTS from this GUY. I have a question tho. does anyone have problems with the MAGGOTS scratching a Stainless Steel Refrigerator? It seems to me like a piece of thin felt on the fridge side would solve that problem but may decrease the power of the MAGGOT. any thoughts? Thanks ~Duke

Not a problem, Duke, as long as you avoid the orange one.
