Since it's lunchtime on the East Coast:
What's everyone having for lunch today? I've got a salad w/ blue cheese dressing and croutons. Also an apple, and some stuffed shells with meat sauce. To drink, a big glass of ice water.

Kohlrabi/Red Cabbage/Carrot Slaw, Refried Vegan Black Beans with fresh made(by me) Flat Bread(Jamie Oliver recipe) with a few Dark Chocolate Almonds and a sparkling water.

What is left of a Buddha bowl containing fresh veggies, fruits and sauce. I will add some cheese. A piece of sour dough bread. Beverage will be a Jolly Good Sour Power.

Still an hour or so to go for us way out west. Probably will skip my own lunch, but prepare some sort of sandwich for the other resident elder. Somehow, I've managed to find myself with 2 giant bunches of celery - not sure she can chew it, so what else to do with it? Soup, I suppose, but that seems a shame. You lost me at blue cheese Hmmm. I do have the leftovers from a wedge of Roquefort sitting in the refrigerator. Blue cheeses can be wonderful (esp. with a half bottle of Sauternes) - you guys have me rethinking the "skip lunch" idea.

Lunch? I just finished breakfast not long ago here in CA. Due to limited grocery shopping thanks to the CV my lunch pantry is pretty bare. I'll probably chop up some celery to mix with tuna and mayo for sandwiches for wife and me. Also half an avocado each seasoned with a bit of juice from my home-grown lemons. Sparkling water will help wash it all down.
