No clue how a week flies by so fast. I forgot to grab a Fairburn last night from home. Now don't judge me, but I have LOTS of rocks at work. I mean lots. Rocks I've found, rocks that need shipped, rocks that got shipped to me. So I started looking and gathered up the Fairburns I had laying around. I really need to clean up and take stuff home. Anyway, the first picture is the pile of the Fairburns in the office, the second and third pics are today's specimen. Thanks for looking!

Gotta take those nice Fairburns home Mike - do them justice. At the office they are rough looking paper weights.

Gotta take those nice Fairburns home Mike - do them justice. At the office they are rough looking paper weights. Yeah, I probably should. However, the rest are in a large jar in a cabinet in my garage. I'm still in the collecting stage for these rocks. And let's just say not everyone in my household shares my passion for all things rock related...

Ok, I forgot to put one up last Friday so you'll have to humor me... Another one for a Monday morning.

It's Friday...meet Big Ugly. He may not be the fanciest Fairburn in my collection, but he has a lot going on. Thanks for looking and Happy Friday!

I bet Big Ugly would turn into Big Pretty if it was cabbed and polished. Thanks for sharing him.

Ok, this week I remembered. Although to be honest, this might be a piece of Jasper with fairburn-like tendencies. Either way, just thought I'd share- thanks for looking!

Close enough to add to the impressive lineup.

Close enough to add to the impressive lineup. Thanks, Rick. It was close enough to make me do a little dance when I found it... I always do, though.

Ok, it's already Friday again. And I didn't forget to look through my Fairburns- I just didn't remember. So today it's an office rock. This may be one that I decide to work instead of keeping as a specimen. Thanks for looking! First, the boring side. Then things get interesting...

Nice. Love the patterns in the last photo. Thanks Beth. It may not be the prettiest rock but I like what it has also.
